Humble Bundle V

Anyone know if you already own the makes if it gives you gift copies, I own all of them (because they are all so awesome) except for Bastion and Amnesia: The Dark Descent?

Think it was mentioned earlier in the thread, but no you don't get gift copies.

The Bastion key is separate from the key for the rest of the games. You could give one of those away, but you don't get individual extra copies.

Recently bought Psychonauts on Amazon but I bit anyway, haven't played any of these altho I've heard of several... These bundles always seem like a good value. Wish they'd do another Android one soon...

I just wish they would release the Humble Bundle App in the Android Play Store, I hate having to redownload and add keys everytime I try a new ROM.

They can't be backed up with Titanium or something? Weren't their Android games (and most of the bundles) DRM free anyway? You could just backup the games themselves... I'm probably rather clueless about the exact issue, haven't wiped or switched ROMs in quite a while... Tho I'll be switching phones this Monday (hopefully... /shakes fist at customs/Sprint/Wirefly).

Don't miss the newish "Pay $1 or more and you’ll get a Steam key...."

Not that its a Big big deal, just saying though... They used to be included.

Anyway, really only want Bastion, have most of the others. Over $8 is too much for a toss it in the backlog game for me.

You give most of the money to charity and then give the other game key away. The bastion key is separate. That way you get the game you want and give money to charity, while giving away the games you don't want to a friend or family member of yours.

Awesome bundle, but like many of you I already have most of these.

I find the current stats kind of amusing:

I guess we PC gamers *are* pretty cheap, lol. We spend the least on the games, yet represent the vast majority of sales.

Funny that the smallest user-base also pays the most for these games...and the Linux crowd is bred on software being free. I guess their pockets are deeper from not spending money on all of the Steam sales, or they're happy to pay more when decent games do get Linux ports.

edit: So you can blame the Linux guys for raising the average purchase price. ;) But in all seriousness, I'm glad. These games are worth every penny of the current average, and quite honestly much more than that.

I'm pretty sure i heard it here on [H], but someone once said something along the lines of:

Windows users are just cheap asses
Mac users are used to overpaying for the same thing
Linux users obtain their OS for free, so what else are they going to do with their money

i grabbed the bundle for limbo

amnesia too... damn scary game

Already own most of these, but bought it anyway and gave most of the money to charity. Too bad I now have useless copies of everything but Amnesia and Psychonauts.

Wow. They're giving out source code for some of these as well. +1 on this.

Linux pays the most because they have a lot of cash left over from not paying for most of their software.

Hopefully you are joking.

You can't say name your own price and expect people not to do that, if I remember right they don't make any money as CC / Paypal fees will eat that penny. But I've bought every bundle for $20, giving most to the developers. Balances out the cheap-asses a bit. :)

Very great combination of games; best one yet in my opinion. I sent them money then used their torrent links to avoid eating their bandwidth.

Awesome bundle, but like many of you I already have most of these.

Yeah, that's sad! Five games are easily worth $25! I won't judge anyone who cheaped out, but I'm not one of them.

I "cheaped out" (not like, a buck or less cheaped out, but less than I usually pay) a little on this bundle for a few reasons:

1) Already have Bastion and LIMBO
2) Already played Psychonauts
3) Didn't have much interest in Super whatever Brothers

So basically I was just getting Amnesia, which I'm not even sure I'll play.

Yes, best bundle yet.
I must be in the minority, as I have not played any of these games before. But I will as soon as the downloads finish. The videos on the page sold me on each one. I think I'll try Limbo first.

gave $25, all to developers.
they deserve it.

I own Amnesia but I heard Bastion was amazing. Just picked this up for $10, totally worth it.

Also quite likely that a lot of Windows users are more apt to buy games, and already owned a good portion of this bundle.

I know a LOT of people already had Bastion, which remove a lot of incentive for beating the average.

Bastion is indeed amazing. There is a lot of debate about whether or not it counts as an indie title but either way it is one of the best titles released last year.

I gave em $10 dollars for the bundle.

I've had my steam account for maybe 6 years +. I have 168 games,

Playing Limbo now and love it.

Thanks for the heads up. Jumped on it. Amnesia and Limbo are definitely worth it.

Awesome bundle. I was in on it pretty much for the bastion soundtrack, everything else was a bonus.

Bit at just over the average this weekend. Would have given more, but I doubt I'll ever play any of the games anyway. Only one I'm interested in really is Bastion, and who knows if I'll ever get around to playing it...

I visited the site to check the averages then I looked at the top donators and DAMN those Bronies have raised over 8k.

enough with the debate. donate what you want. lets keep things civil and about the deal guys :)

I'm considering jumping on this just for Psychonauts since I'm not interested in or have most of the games in the bundle. Psychonauts is $5 on steam though, so I'm torn.

They just added 3 more games. Braid, Super Meat Boy and Lone Survivor.

Doh! Is that common practice on these...to add games midway through? I've never paid attention before. Don't suppose we get the extra games added to our Steam libraries if we already paid more than the average?

Hmm...Already have Super Meat Boy but the others look interesting. Might up my donation to get 'em, not sure yet.

If you paid the average don't worry. Just go to your email and you should be ready to download. A few in the past added games before.

Lone Survivor is a cool 8-bit survival horror game. Give that one a chance for sure. I can't recommend a controller enough for Super Meat Boy though but it is fun, hard, but fun.

braid is a very interesting, very original platform puzzler. im most of the way through it and enjoy it very much. its not too hard as to be frustrating, but it does make you stop and think on every level which i like about it. super meat boy is no thinking, just doing. very challenging on many levels because you have to get it exactly right.havent played the other. this is a great bundle though, if you dont have any of these games, definitely buy.
