4GB RAM

E4500 @ 2.8GHz
9600GT 512MB

Athlon X2 5200+
8800GT 512MB
3GB RAM

Athlon X2 4400+
HD 3870 512MB

Only two of these were purpose built rigs, the rest were results of spare parts and upgrades.

Any folding rig counts, too? I don't use my computers for gaming, anymore, though.

HP Slimline s3430f
HP Slimline s3120n
Dell M1210
F@H rig - still waiting for a couple of parts.

you should narrow down the requirements of being capable to "game"

maybe list the names of a few games and then a smooth playability requirement

I just have the main rig.
I used to have 2 gaming machines back in the day but didn't really use the second one much so I sold it to a friend that wanted to game.

Q6600 @3ghz
8GB Ram
GTX 285

How am I showing off exactly? My rigs aren't exactly anything special nowadays.

Ach, compared to me. I thought a E6320 was kickass until I figured what q9550 meant. I use mine for folding, though I'm pretty sure it can game, if I connected a monitor up to it.

EDIT: ach is a wierd noise of 'oops' made by one's tounge.

Just the one (I'm really boring, aren't I?).

Core i7 920 @ 3.6GHz
HD4870 512MB
6GB RAM

It's also my main (read: only) folding rig since I don't game that much any more, what with uni and stuff. I really should have bought a 260 instead of the 4870 lol...

See sig. I do have several systems that are "gaming capable," But I stopped PC gaming a long time ago. Now I am exclusively console and hand-held only.

Just 1, why would I want to own more than one, i can only play on one at a time :p

Well my friend has 3 that have at least a 8400 and a 4850 in them. Makes impulse LANings a lot easier since they are always there and ready for us when we just gotta play some deathmatch.

All of my pc's at the house are gaming capable except for my server. :)

All but 2 of my rigs are gaming capable. From most to least powerful.

Core i7 920
4890 xfire (waiting on Fermi before going DX11)
12GB RAM

Core 2 Quad Q9400
8800GTS 512MB
4GB RAM

Pentium D 3.2GHz
9600GT
2GB RAM

ill go with 3 and half

My main PC listed in sig. My media PC, my wifes PC and my laptop counts as the half. The 8600 in it just doesn't really cut it. The other two PCs have 9600s which are more than adequate to play games well.

I only game on 1.
Q6600
4 gig ram
ATI 4870

It does every game i've thrown at it so far.

I have too many pc's to put them on here but at least 3 more are capable of gaming. Might be games before 2007 or 08. But they still do it.
I played on my laptop while i was gone.
AMD Turion somthing another, i forget
2 gig ram
Onboard video

My favorite rig has been what is now my server.
AMD 2800
Asus A7N8X-E deluxe mmmm
2 gig ram
Nvidia 6800

And if you count the PS3.

Not counting my kid's computer, I have three capable of Crysis in a reasonable fashion:

Opty 175 / 4gigs ram
x1900xt (formerly had 2 x 8800GTS I removed them to make room for a PCIE raid card)
19" TN from BenQ
1 x 32gig SSD, 5 x 1TB (raid 5)
PC P&C 1Kw / Xp 64 (this PC is used as a NAS/game server but could still play games OK)
Old version of the Lian-Li V1200b

Q9300 @ 3.2Ghz / 8gigs ram
4870 / 9800gtx+ (I need to yank the 9800 out since it is now a power sucking paper weight with out hacking drivers or using old drivers, and I only own 2 games that actually use GPU PhysX anyway)
Sony G520
1 x 500gig, 1 x 1 TB
PC P&C Silencer 750 / Win 7 64 / Xp 32
New version of the Lian-Li V1200b

I7 920 / 6gigs ram (recent build, a little over a month, still on stock cooling, buying either a True or Corsair H50 b4 any serious OC attempts)
5870 /
Viewsonic P220f b / Dell w2409s
2 x 640gig, 1 x 1TB
Corsair HX850/ Win 7 64 / Xp 32
Corsair 800D (formerly a V1200b, yes I have 3 of them)

I have an Opty 165, DFI SLI mobo, 2 x 8800Gts, 4 gigs of ram, v1200b, a Dell branded g520, and a Xp 64 license, I could toss together as a 4th gaming system but feel no need to do so. The Opty 165 does not OC for shit anyway.

C2D e8400 / 6gb of ram

24" Samsung 2493hm
Thermaltake Big Typhoon
1tb Samsung Spinpoint F1
400gb WD Caviar

C2D e6300 / 2gb ram
8800gts 320mb
2x160gb WD Caviar
200gb WD Caviar

Honestly, though, I want to sell off that secondary box. The 8800 is more or less sold. I really wanted to have a secondary computer again, but as I upgraded my main rig and found myself with one, I realized that I won't actually do anything with it. There are things I COULD do with it, I just don't have time to fool with it most of the time. Maybe once I'm done with school

2, one is capable of playing much older games and one is capable of playing the latest games.......

My main desktop (Amd64x2 (dual-core 64-bit) @ 2.66 w XP64, 256 Radeon (dont remember model), and 3gb Ram) has had no problems with any games except The Witcher (which I understand a LOT of people have issues with)

My laptop can handle most games... cant get Portal, TF2, or Peggle to work worth crap on it though (AMD Tureon2 (dual-core 64-bit) with Vista64, 64-mb dedicated VRAM (I think) and 2gb RAM)

If you can't get peggle to work, I'm not sure how "game capable" it could possibly be.

Everquest, Everquest II, World of Warcraft, Dungeons and Dragons Online, Guild Wars, Any emulator I can throw at it minus Dolphin. For me and my mostly-mmorpg gaming it's great. I can even run Maya (3D rendering/animation program) at full throttle on it wihtout any lag.

I think Steam's games require a really good graphics card + VRAM while the others require a really good processor and system's ram

I couldnt imagine playing all those MMOs at once. When do you have time to eat/sleep/work/other fun stuff?
