Yeah I got it preloading right now too.Downloading...
I usually never pay more than $20 for games. I never get games at launch and I don't pre-order. My sweet spot price range for buying games is $5-$10. So when 9th-gen games standardized around $70 I just laughed. Now games are gonna be $80 and again I laugh. I didn't pay $50 or $60 launch prices, so they can kiss my ass with prices higher than that. They can charge however much they want, but I won't be paying a dime until some good sale prices come around.Because AAA games are usually that expensive these days.
I don't buy top end hardware to play games that are several years old and in the bargain bin. In truth, I don't buy that many games compared to most people. I tend to be super picky about what I like. If I like a game, I'll play the shit out of it. That's why I have between 700 and 4,000 hours in a lot of the games I do have. Between trailers and YouTube videos with gameplay footage, I tend to know what I like and rarely buy a game I end up not liking. (Though it does sometimes still happen.) $60 to $70 isn't a huge deal given I probably only buy 3 or 4 games a year. That said, I do also utilize Game Pass or EA Play for some things if I want to try something I'm not 100% sure about.Yeah I got it preloading right now too.

On a 7800X3D and have not experienced any crashing. From the developer:
I disabled in the bios integrated graphics instead. Waiting until I can play it as well.
Yeah, Nvidia just doesn't know how to make a good driver it seems. It's almost like they forgot how to make good stable drivers lolThe game is a train wreck, already issues with the latest NV drivers and more, another AAA beta game well worth $70, I'm glad i only paid $58.

I don't see one AMD issue on that known issue blurb, lol. This is without the path tracing update, hopefully ID/Nvidia works out the Nvidia sided bugs. The game is a train wreck, already issues with the latest NV drivers and more, another AAA beta game well worth $70, I'm glad i only paid $58.

And yet here you are, bitching about a game you're not even playing. That's great, but just because you don't have issues doesn't mean the same for everyone though. The link I posted was directly from Bethesda's own site, not a bunch of teenagers complaining in a forum, they already knew about these issues with the 576.40 being the latest. The main point is they call it a AAA game, when it's really just a BBB beta release, yet they want $70+ for the game. I'm done playing that game, I'll buy the game off a 3rd party site before I get bent over. At least the Stalker devs had a a excuse of a major war raging, one of their devs even KIA and the Russians hacked the code.
Nice responseAnd yet here you are, bitching about a game you're not even playing.

I did buy it and have it preloaded, it hasn’t released yet for me. These issues were from Bethesda’s site.So did you buy it and try it yet? I'm confused. Were you specifically having problems with the game?
Why did you buy this game if those are a concern for you or just refund it? If the price is not worth it, ahmmm I don't buy it. Anyways I knew way beforehand, a few weeks how the game looks, plays, performance and the number of issues before I bought, no regrets, at least yet. That's great, but just because you don't have issues doesn't mean the same for everyone though. No issues for me either other than the resolution thing, but zero crashes and running fine. And yet here you are, bitching about a game you're not even playing.
So far I’d say yes. That or just game pass it.So is this game a must buy, or just mediocre?
I've been playing Wolfenstein, Doom, and Quake since the original days.
Didn't care for Doom Eternal due to the platforming. But wondering if Dark Ages is a cool fun game worth $70?
Brake fluid.Lube or no lube

after i reinstalled it onto my 980 pro it fired right up, but that was after it launched. probably took less time than the decompression thing.Took about 5 minutes on my Gen4 SN850X.
Ja, there is basically no loading time in the game.after i reinstalled it onto my 980 pro it fired right up, but that was after it launched. probably took less time than the decompression thing.
only played for half hour or so, seems to play fine. im limited to 1080/med "static", and getting 45-75 and freesync is smoothing it out fine in the dips. im waaaaaaaay out of practice though... oof.
