Exactly... I've had situations where I get 2-3 kills with the MP-443 because of the huge clip (17 for a pistol).

I would have probably died if I didn't pull out the pistol.

This is certainly debatable. Any engineer worth half a damn has a tracer equipped anyway. I have probably 1000 vehicle kills (got the 500 vehicle kill around the time of the patch) and I would say that at least 4 out 5 of my vehicle kills were either 1) through AT mines (I've got platinum) or 2) through a CG from a tracer that I personally traced.

Your tracer is not helping the team as much as you think it is (unless you are tagging helicopters that no one else is able to).

QFT, the MP-443 is my new side-arm ever since the 1911 was nerfed :( My buddy was trying it out, and he complained that it was weak, but the shear speed and clip size makes it quite good.

I never used the 1911 pre-nerf. It seems pretty damn good to me. How did they nerf it?

The nerfed it's rate of fire by A LOT and they buffed damn near every other pistol so that the 1911 wasn't the flat out best pistol.

I've always been partial to the revolver.. but I try to use the other pistols just for fun these days lol

Never really found a use for the handguns myself, simply because the Medic's ammo clip is so large. I rarely run out in battle. All handguns seem pretty weedy and I only really succeed with them if I get the drop on the enemy.

The Stats Verse site is now updating again properly

lately after a few beers i'll equip the MP-412 REX and run around with it as my primary. my K/D ratio goes to shit but damn it's fun getting headshots with it from much further out than one should be able to (all luck) :D. thanks for the heads up on the stats verse site.

I have M1911 kill, only used it for 30 seconds or so, it worked well (pre nerf). I always shift to noob tube if I have to reload in a firefight. Otherwise, AN-94, per magazine, can kill up to 4 people.
 
Got my second 50 ranker last night, took 2 attempts with the broken knife. ;) The patch can't come soon enough.

The MG3 is so shit in its present form I need the nerf to platinum it, got all other LMG's 1000 kills so far.

Use in bursts? I find it 'kicks' quite badly after the 3rd shot. So tap tap tap.

I use the same method on the M416 which I'm 'golding' up atm
 
bfbcs now has a "next events" section that shows you how many kills are left to your next stars, achievements, etc.

Yeah saw this earlier, nice addition to the site. It's showing all the pistols I haven't used yet. I love the History tab too, showing my daily progress or regress. Much prefer this site to the Stat Verse site these days. I do like a stat or two!

Yeah, mostly burst here too except LMGs in close quarter combat. Circle strafe and pummel!

Loving the M416, deadly and decent 21% accuracy so far. Got 420 kills in just over 4hrs 45mins, so smooth progress. Golding it up quicker than the AN-94 but slightly less effective at longer range.

The M416 rocks, IMO. If you can learn to control it's pretty accurate at all ranges and it a high enough rate of fire that you can easily spray-and-pray in close quarters and drop someone quick.
 


Just hit 1000 unique dogtags and 600+ skill for the first time.

Apparently I am an evil spammer. I don't stick with one rifle though really (I'm starting to like the M416 though). I also need to stop being suicidal, I'm a bit too used to Unreal and Quake.

Sure does, got 900 kills with it so far and it's been a fun weapon to take on to the battlefield. Distance kills are easier than I originally thought. Small clicks to control the recoil. Firing from the hip is great as long as you aren't in close quarters with an enemy weilding a shotgun. I prefer it to the AN-94, quicker progression and accuracy so far and much better in CQC

Speaking of shotties, I tried out the USAS, nice. 3 shots bam, bam, bam in quick succession takes anyone out even at distance (slugs)

I have precisely 0 kills with the 40mm GL, and proud. You should see my CG though ;)

This graphic show defib and repair drill kills, so much fun drilling a 40+ player to death with a drill.

Safe to say the accuracy on that is broken. Most graphics work though there are hundreds to choose from. Like this one



23% accuracy across the board, pretty decent. Or another way to look at it is that 3/4 of your bullets are missing! ;)

Nice amounts of kills with the UAV, I really need to practice using it. Any tips as I'm useless?

nice platins, now bronze all the other weapons.

whoring with it as a primary weapon aside, try to get used to the GL it can be very useful sometimes like when you are on a higher ground than the enemy or by taking advantage of the destructible environment and take down an enemy by blowing the wall he’s hiding behind (the buildings area in Africa Harbor for example) or when you start shooting at someone and at the last second before he dies he hides behind something where any GL shot around him would kill him etc.

Thanks, just got the M416 platinum and I am now working on the XM8 P (very deadly) . I tried to get all bronzes but I found I wasn't enjoying it, so I gave up. In trying I uncovered some very nice weapons however.

I should use it, in those circumstances it is useful I'm sure. I just seem to forget it's there ;)

Cool, I'll download at home and give it a watch.
