BF-BC2 - Post your vital statistics...

Got accused of hacking today. I was killing in 3s and 4s true but this dummy....

He had no idea that a shotgun with slugs and mag ammo was a one shot kill. Would not even try it to see. lol

Same round I one shot the heli pilot with the same gun. That was a complete luck shot. I kind of understand someone thinking I have an aimbot for that one though.

When I first started the game I thought there was aimbotting going on with after being killed by the shotgun at distance but then I tried it and realised it was possible.

Shotgun with mag ammo and slugs is fun as hell. Picking off enemy from distance is amongst the most satifying things to do in the game. I think it probably induces more rage quit than anything else.

The only weapon I have killed pilots with is the M60, filled the front window of the chopper with bullets and the chopper came down after a +50. Just another of those very cool unexpected moments that BC2 produces on a regular basis.
 
I dunno, I had to have made this one guy rage-quit. I tracered/gustaved him (as infantry) 3-4 times in a row. All while sitting on the same hill and he was hiding behind the same rock and kept getting revived. I was trying to get some multi kills with splash but for some reason I always tracered him and always killed just him.

Then another guy who I was gustaving out of his Humvee/ATV every time he came near the base. It was like I couldn't miss and was quite entertaining.

Crappy teams that I end up on are the only things that make me quit this game anymore.. I haven't played much at all in the past month or so because of it...

It's getting more and more common for me, too. I'll join a server with one team having 8 or so people with a 35-50 rank and a team listing littered with stars on the badges, while the other team only has 1-2 people in that range.

EDIT: Just finished playing on another server where this happened. Usually I see experienced clan people changing teams to join their fellow clan mates. Instead of teaming up on the losing team though, they team up on the stacked team. Very honorable.

Often the match up between teams is unbalanced due to rank. I found myself last night playing against 3 50 rankers and many mid to high 40 rankers. It often happens when public players are stacked on one team and a clan plays on another. Normally the game will roll...

The clan was called TM68, or something like that. Despite this we still won 50% of the games, our pub team was pretty decent for a change and I had a friend playing to help each other out. On my own it would have been tough going.

Sometimes I wish I was in a clan but then again, I seem to do well without one. It is very satifying taking out clans and causing them mayhem. I've been asked to join a few (NHF and one other I forget) but never do. On the other foot it would be nice to play on a less noobish team more often

I agree. Crappy, unbalanced teams are all over the place. And it really sucks if I'm stuck on the non-stacked team. It makes me wonder if people actually know how to play the game and work like a team sometimes. Even just basic shit like working together to set an MCOM or holding even just one flag in Conquest. Many teams I play on can't even do those things...gets me pissed off sometimes.
 
Just realised I spent 16 days total online. Jesus, where did the time go? Screw it, it's been a lot of fun.

Finally some closure and time to do something more productive! With a baby due end of October probably just as well! ;)

I know what you mean, I tried a bit of L4D2, Alien Swarm and TF2 last night and found all a tad dull after Bad Company 2.

12 days so far, and i'm embarrassed to say that hand grenades have surpassed the M16 as my most lethal weapon :(

I started a new soldier last night, just to muck about. Had a great time annoying high rankers and got some rather pointed abuse from a 45 ranked player. "FU noob medic" after killing him repeatedly, amused me anyway thinking about my 'other' soldier. We proceeded to win all games. The starter weapons are superb although I miss my red dot and magnum ammo

Haven't played this game since the first month but getting back into it. My suicide bomber playstyle causes me to lose big time on defense though. It's not good when I have a 3.82 win ratio on attackers and 0.5 on defense lol.
 


That's my drunk/screw around account. I try to do Recon w/ Thompson, C4 and 1911....
 
Created another soldier just to wind people up as a pretend noob, I'm having a lot of fun doing this ;)

1458 when I hit 50, if it wasn't for the knife being broken for 2 months it would have been much higher.

Unfortunately my mate got me 6 times without a reply (each time he got a gold), I'll never live that one down.

At one point I stopped knifing - only recently when I stared using the 870+slug+mag did I start using it a gain out of necessity.

Yeah, I prefer to just shoot people. Knifing's great if you want to rub the kill in but I don't really care about that, and often the time spent running to knife someone gives them time to take down one or two of your team-mates. It's annoying getting shot by someone with a teammate watching him from across the road and then running in for the knife as you sit back and watch in killcam. Makes sense to assume other people think it's gay too, so I just shoot them and save a ticket or two.

yes there's an ARROGANTmoose, good memory. no real meaning behind the moose's, i just find that creature humorous. i see you're not as focused on knifing people when in the jungle :p

I stopped playing a while ago... I picked up Vietnam and played it for an hour or two but been too busy with school.
 
Im going to get Hate for mine but here it is. I am just getting into it on PC & finding it difficult at the moment. I played alittle today & i did alot better. I think im just getting past the Frustration

you're not going to get any hate. i've put quite a few hours into BC2 (see my stats-graphics above) and i still get my ass handed to me on a regular basis. from my perspective the game is fun even when you're getting killed a lot.
 
Why you going to get hate? we all start some place ;)

Once you level up and get better guns it gets moar funs...
 
I dont know im so used to just playing WoW that now that I dont trying to play any game even BC2 im having a hard time. I know its going to take time I just dont like seeing how bad im doing like in the image above.

It seems like all battlefield games are like that for me... you start off doing terribad and slowly pick up how to use weapons / the best routes to run and other small strategies.

Like I used to play 2142 all the time, I loved that game. I reinstalled it like 2 years later and tried to play and I was god awful. Other games I can pickup and do fine a few years later, like Quake or TF2... but they're generally simpler games in terms of mechanics and game-play compared to the Battlefield series.

Even when I take a few month break from BC2 I suck for a bit until I get back into the groove of things.
