I first tried out Antec products (a case and a power supply) a few years ago and I still have the system that I built then. I really like Antec's products.
My system has been running on an Antec 640W power supply in a P180 case and it's been running smoothly for over 3 years. Great products and awesome reliability.
Antec has some of the most superior designs for cases, beautiful styling, with great airflow.
Their power supplies are not nearly as elegant but they do what they are supposed to, provide clean, consistent, and efficient power, and they do it very well.
Put me in please, I like Antec too. I have several older Antec cases and power supplies (I especially liked my all aluminum Antec case.) Antec products are always as good as, if not better than, most any other consumer grade hardware manufacturers products that you can buy. As well, Antec prices are usually better than most.
I'm using an Antec Skeleton/Earthwatts combo right now that's a few years old. I never hesitate to recommend Antec products to people looking quality hardware.
Antec's slogan is BELIEVE IT!
They also sell top of the line products, such as the p180 series of cases. They also make amazing power supplies, as all that I have used from them have lasted forever.
The first thing that comes to mind when I think about the overall Antec brand is: Quality. I remember the first time I built a machine using an Antec case and PSU (for a friend). I was impressed at just how quiet it all was. The quality of build also seemed excellent. Other manufacturers seem to hit and miss, but Antec in general always seems to be consistently good. I currently own a couple of Antec PSUs and they've been rock solid since day one. Would love to try out a case as well. Here's hoping I get picked!
I bought the Twelvehundred back in 2009 and it was more than I could have asked for. The intake-exhaust air-cooling design is brilliant. Aesthetically, the case is simple and attractive which does not detract from the thoughtful design and modular aspects. The Twelvehundred made me a believer.
I've been using Antec products for well over 10 years. When I had my TruePower Quattro 1000w power supply go out, they swapped it out and gave me a TruePower Quattro 1200w PSU, which I use now in my system. I've never been disappointed with Antec's products and I'll recommend them gladly to everyone I come across.
Their PSU quality is something I've come to rely on for many years. For cases, I've not owned any but they seem to be well thought out and have their aesthetic rather than copying the crowd.
I've been doing builds for friends and family for years. Switched to using Antec Three Hundred cases for all new builds. Love the layout and quality of the case and the price!
Antec makes some solid, value-friendly products. The original Antec Sonata case + PSU (Piano Black finish) was one of the most solid, easy-to-work-with cases that I've ever purchased. At the time, it put my more expensive Lian-Li cases to shame in terms of accessibility.
Antec power supplies have been my choice for my last build and my current one. Years of trouble-free service from both of them. I would like a new, more powerful one to help me upgrade to a newer graphics card, and I would like to experience using an Antec case as I have not done so before.
