3DMark11 Score

i love how people run these benchmarks. While a general good tool for tweaking your pc video/cpu performance.

This has nothing to do with real world performance in games.

anyways, im at p5320 ;-)

Amd 1055t@ 3.78ghz (270fsb)
Asus ATI 6870 @ 1000mhz core 1250 mem
4gb DDR2 1066@ 1439mhz

Who said anything about real world?

It is just a benchmark, wish people would get over the whole "real" world, "fake"(synthetic) world thing.

It is just another way to benchmark a computer and I feel it is better then testing in a game because it is even and level across the field, or supposed to be, while not always the case.

but then you went ahead and complained about that and still ran it and showed your score

This benchmark has more to do with the "real world" than any other since it relies so heavily on the gpu.

I bumped up the voltage on the GTX 460 to get 875/1650/2050. Pulled a P3842. Not stable at those clocks, tho.

HD5850 1030/1300
i7 920 @ 4.0GHz

Well I got my RAM in and I'm sitting at a nice 4GHz now. And I wasn't able to get 5k afterward, but damn close, i got P4927. I ended up having to bump my video card a little higher to get the score I wanted. But, hey 5k with a 5850!! I'm happy :p

I just cant get over 5k. I'm hoping when i get my new ram in Tuesday I can get back to 4.2hz and pass 5k, but this is what I'm able to do right now.

Any GTX470 owners break p6000?

I'm doing some tweaking on my GTX470 hoping to break P6000 soon.

Just ran the test on my system.

P6218 with a single 580 and my 920 clocked down at 3.8 (kept it at 4.0 for a long time, but went down to lower volts after I didn't really see much of a difference in the games I play).

Bumped the 580 up to 825 from 800, using stock volts and stock memory clock. Jumped up to P6353.

There are people hitting 7400-8K in other forums with the GTX 580. Up those clocks!!!
I got 6530 with the GTX 480.

My computer locks up when running the new 3dmark. Their forums suggest a patch is on its way.

Did they say what the likely culprit for the lock up was?

I also use 6870 crossfire, an OCZ SDD and an i7.

I don't understand where the problem is here.

Don't rely on that patch, look towards fixing this yourself.

I get an error message that I can't remember, I'm at work, but the 3dmark forums moderator says they are working on a patch. I have recently ran stress tests on the CPU, memory, and the video cards with success. Mass Effect 2 runs beautifully with no problems. So I have to assume the problem is with 3D Mark itself.

I guess.

Could be a conflict with a driver elsewhere.

Well here it is, P5130 3DMarks. And probably my max i will ever get. lol.

Has anyone seen a thread for 5850s 3dmaks?

HD6970 at 925/1425 running in the system below got me 4270.

But it wouldn't let me submit the result since the graphics driver on the included software DVD (which register as 10.11) are apparently not approved.

I'll have to download 10.12 from the AMD website and rerun it, maybe things might go a bit higher but I think I need a Thuban at 4.0 ghz+ to hit 5K.

edit: reran using 10.12 off the AMD website, nets me 4613. Still not approved, I guess it is because I'm overclocked: http://3dmark.com/3dm11/203005

P6658 with my GTX 480.http://3dmark.com/3dm11/192240 There wasn't much improvement from 3.8 Ghz on my i7 to 4.0 Ghz. This GPU OC is probably not stable for 24/7 use.

For my 24/7 OC of 860/2200, I score about P6300 (Don't want to retest it right now).

Stock GTX 480 is about P5300.

I'm at 5300, with a 6870. Specs in sig. a 6970 should be in the 6k range.

It's your hexacore, it really makes that much of a difference. That damn benchmark loves extra cores. Plus I'm like 300 mhz behind. I would be past your score with a decently overclocked Thuban, I'm pretty sure of it.
