I haven't seen any 3DMark11 scores in this forum yet...or maybe I'm just blind. But anyways here is my score

looks like my 9550+gtx480 > i7 870+gtx460
and i nearly spend $800 bucks for an i7 system, good that i held off.
highest I seen so far, so yes.
How does CPU effect this benchmark score?
I went from 4ghz to 4.2 here is the difference..
Barely an increase in performance. Looks like this benchmark is more about the GPU performance than CPU performance.

If SLI works I guess it they could hit around 12,000+ if they are over clocked.
I don't think quite that high. The best overclockers are only to 15,357 so far.
The best over clocker single HD5870 with stock cooling Vantage score has been beating by a relatively moderately over clocked GTX570 on stock cooling as well.
single HD5870 Vantage 25,900 @1,150/1,300MHz
http://hwbot.org/community/submissi...tage___performance_radeon_hd_5870_25900_marks
Single GTX570 Vantage 27,987 @900/1150MHz
http://hwbot.org/community/submissi...age___performance_geforce_gtx_570_27987_marks
Based on these results I don't think it will be a problem for 2xGTX570 in SLI to reach 12,000+ in 3DMark11

I'm a little disappointed to have one of the lowest scores in this thread and a quite capable (and recently built computer.
I7-920 overclocked to 4.0ghz
EVGA X58
Galaxy GTX460 Super O/Ced edition
12GB DDR3 RAM
OCZ Vertex 2
.......I don't even break 4K. (3850) Do my scores look on? Or low?
I guess I shouldn't care because I don't have a SINGLE game that I can't run at max settings...at perfectly playable framerates (that I've tried anyway)
I'd like to run a test on my GTX470 but right now my Windows 7 is down. Waiting for SSDs for fresh W7 install.
I feel better now. We have pretty close systems.my e-penis is smalll apparently...
