I know that hte XPS screen is bigger, but I'm not really sure which notebook would be better overall as far as quality and durability. I've been unable to find any documented specs for the response times for either screen. Looking at the WUXGA on the M70 vs the one on the XPS. Any help would be...

I've got a Dell 1704FPT using DVI from my graphics card as the input. If I'm playing a game at 1024x768 which method of scaling should I use in the Nvidia driver control panel??? The two best options seem to be Monitor Scaling or Display Adapter, which one is preferable?

I've been considering one of their Mini-ITX embedded solutions for a F@H/multimedia box attached to my TV. Are these any good? Does WinXP install on them easily? Are there any issues with them in general I should know before buying them?
when i last backed up my hard drive from one HDD to another i had windows 98, which was before all this activation crap. i just dragged C: to my new hard drive, which was installed as a secondary drive and it transfered everything to it, including the whole OS and it was a brand new bootable C...

I was looking through Everest and came across something perplexing. Why does it say my effective FSB is 100Mhz? Shouldn't it be 400? 100QDR?

I haven't received my Dell Precision Workstation and I was wondering if there will be a conflict with most applications and Windows 64bit and the emt64 on the processor. Will my games work? Will PS work?
My friend has a Netgear wireless G 4 port router that's currently running one PC with CAT 5 connection and one on the wireless. Sometimes the wired connection will not allow access past the router or even see the router. The wireless works all the time. When I shut off the cable modem and the...
Today I got my SFF Pentium M and assembled it, but I failed to notice that the PSU was set to 230V since I live and ordered it in fucking America you know I just assumed they'd have it set to our fucking voltage being that ITS BEING SOLD HERE!
Anyway I ran it for about a minute or two like...
I just ordered one of these but its still in transit. Does anyone know what brand the PSU is? All it says on the site is 550W, which is hopefully enough for dual 3.0 Xeons and a Quadro and 2GB of ram. Its in some kind of small form factor case so I don't know if its a standard size yet or not.
is its image quality the same as the 2001 and 2045 and is it worth the money. are there better alternatives for cheaper? i need color accuracy, small footprint and good response time.
I'm building an extremely low voltage computer with an LCD monitor. I need to know which would be best for color reproduction and video/gaming. I'll be watching a lot of movies on this computer.
i was wondering who the best server hardware dealers would be for someone without a reseller's account, and specifically where to get low voltage xeons at.
Ok I have the Cavalier with that stupid analog dial thing on the front and I can't figure out why its not working. i have it plugged in the way it should be and it just never works at all. Same with the one on my dads cavalier.

Right now I've got 2 x 512MB running in dual channel. I know you're supposed to have matched RAM for that as far as latency etc goes. I want to add another GB to it, but apparently they don't sell Infineon RAM in New Zealand.
Do I run the risk of data corruption if I don't use the exact same...
Why is it that Diskeeper 9 takes longer to defragment, and also requires network permissions in order to work? Does it send any data over the network when its defragmenting?
my brother whos incredibly good at UT2003 and gets accused of cheating wants a real aimbot for some reason. he doesn't have a non-free email account so he cant join hardforum to ask himself, and no its not for me. i wouldn't normally ask but hes been bugging me constantly and i want to get it to...
Will a Antlon 2600 with 333FSB work on a motherboard with 266FSB? Is it dependant on the specific board or would it generally work with the lower FSB? This particular motherboard has a VIA KT 266A chipset.
The other day I was trying to unlock my hardware masked pixel pipelines on my 6800nu, and when it started artifacting i tried to stop the 3D demo I was using to test it. It crashed and I had to do a hard reset. When I started up again, I re-masked the bad pixel unit and then I noticed that my...
I've got a 6800nu with 67.66 drivers and, in Far Cry, I get major texture corruption and hitching. There's a huge black square that follows the characters and nothing looks quite right. This is the only game I get any sort of problems with. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I recently got an APC Smart UPS and the Power Chute software that comes with it. After I installed it I noticed pbagent.exe and PBSERV~1.exe constantly running.
edit: never mind i didnt read it correctly. pbagent is a keylogger but pbeagent is power chute business edition. sorry! delete post.
