I just ordered one of these but its still in transit. Does anyone know what brand the PSU is? All it says on the site is 550W, which is hopefully enough for dual 3.0 Xeons and a Quadro and 2GB of ram. Its in some kind of small form factor case so I don't know if its a standard size yet or not.

I don't deal much with Dell anymore but the last Dell system I had came with a Foxconn PSU........which as we all know is a Deer  And yes it did die.

I hope there workstation's don't come with such crappy PSU's. I will check and see what I can find.

Anyways, that shows that your Precision 470 is a standard, full-sized and regular pin-out ATX supply

Except it doesn't answer the question this time :p

LOL I didn't think they'd tell me if I called.

They didn't tell me either.....I figured what the hell and tried. I used our business account in hopes of getting someone who gave a damn or knew something. I was wrong.
