Yeah I hoping to bump it up a few notches on the next one. Better graphics more variations in game play. Part of the problem was limiting the resolution to 320x480 (for most phones) which kinda looks meh on something like a nexus 7.

No problem, thanks for the input. I was thinking the jumping levels were a bit too long (on the next update I will make the jumping levels shorter). One thing to notice is that the stars make you invulnerable for few seconds.

I would say probably a memory problem, MMORPGs tend to be memory hogs. Try lowering you video settings to see if it is a video card problem. I can run a WOW server and play on my laptop at the same time and all I have is intel integrated graphics.

I can run WOW on my Dell D610 that has intel integrated graphics no problem (even when I have a emulation server going on at the same time) so I would imagine that EQ would probably work OK.

I just use the standard UI, I used to use pvplog but everyone got tied of the PVP spam so I turned that off. I also used guildmap but no else bothered to dl so I stopped using it also. At least I don't have to worry about my system crashing due to mods that wont run right after patch day :D

From what I have read the Prescotts tend to overclock higher than the Northies, however like the above poster said u need to get it over about 3.4 to perform better than the Northwood at the same clock speed.

I see that there is also a free trial Return to Norrath available on the EQ website. I think im going download that first to get a quick feel for the game.

figures SOE wouldn't include the patches. How gay, at least I have DSL, but I still imagine it will take a long ass time to DL 7 years of patches :p

Saw that the EQ Titanium pack was going for $19.99 now at Best Buy. Looks like a pretty good deal including 10 expansions and 30 days play time. Any recommendations on whether its still worth playing or I am wasting my time?

I am on the Stormscale server with many others from the [H] and I have never had to wait in a que. Perhaps you might want to try a different server. ;)

Anyone know if you need to patch the demo? I installed it and couldn't log into the online servers. :( It just sat there with the message "Creating Account", but nothing ever happened.

As far as I know the US version will only allow play on the US servers and the EU version will only allow you to play on EU servers. ;)

I would recommend that you pick an RP server like Antonia Bayle. The population will be higher and the people are for the most part pretty cool, (not a-holes) and willing to help you out.

Definetly sounds interesting, combat based upon skill/aim etc.. sounds good. I remember playing before almost falling asleep grinding with my Master Swordsman spamming the same spin attack over and over.... Have to check it out when it goes live.

When I was playing, few months back, the only decent caster classes were the Wizard and Warlock. The other class forums were basically full of post about how there class sucked DPS wise versus the locks & wizards. Thats my 2cents, but things may have changed since then.

I used to play SWG and I always thought its biggest short coming was a lack of content. The combat system, crafting & etcc. seemed pretty decent however there was not really any quests that were interesting or rewarding. There also was a big lack of cool "dungeons", the few that were around...
