Here's the problem, My plasma has a native widescreen resolution of 1366*768. So I just hook my PC up using the DVI port. Simple. No stretching, native widescreen. My buddy wants to buy a plasma with a non-widescreen resolution of 1024*768 and run everything (TV and all) through his HTPC...

The fan on my NF-7 northbridge is failing, it makes a god-awful sound at startup but then settles down. Takes about 1 minute to get quiet. What should I replace this with? Do I need a fan? Should just get a Zalman passive heatsink? Any and all ideas thx everyone.
