I have an I5 laptop with a heat pipe cooling system there is about 4 inches from cpu to the laptop cooling fan. I have modified the laptop base and added mini heatsinks and copper shims along that the heat pipe. Am I helping or hindering heat pipe transfer of heat to the cooling fan?

The intel 620 is not dead slow sure its no RTX card but its is quite capable of playing games at 720 especially if you have 32GB of ram and boost the TDP to the max . I also own three RTX laptops two rtx 2060 and Tigerlake w 3060... THis is just an experiment to see what I could squeeze out of...
