My overclock is 1375MHz on GPU. It typically boosts to 1515MHz, it will stay there like 98% of the time, from time to time it'll drop to 1485, or somewhere in the middle of those two. The boost speed changing is 100% normal, nothing to worry about.

Yes, I was aware of issues. I was moving from CF 6970's. I've had two cards for almost forever, going back to SLI Voodoo 2's. Right now I'm running my cards overclocked to 1515(boost)/7600 and I get pretty good performance I think, even on my 7 year old CPU.

The X2's seem to be 30ohm, and the 598 are 50ohm so the 598 should be a little harder to drive but at these low impedance levels anything can drive them so it should be unnoticeable. The X2's should be a little louder from what I've seen but I've never used them for any extended period of time...

They are stereo headphones that use software to generate 7.1 sound. They also only work with USB connections. I got the impression that the OP was looking for a 3.5mm connection. Any stereo headset can be 5.1 or 7.1 just like these.

I have 650's and I don't recommend them for gaming. Also note they are 600 ohms so you'll need a amp for sure. I haven't used the 600's much... tested them out a few years back and thought they were pretty good but not blown away. Got the 650's last year and love them for music.

Exactly... I love the neutral sound of my sennheisers, I have several different models. I can't understand how people shell out for bass heavy sets like beats and monster. If I want more bass on my sennheisers, I use my EQ to help them out.

These both use pretty much the same drivers. They should sound very similar.
