that took away a LOT of the problem, I cant notice anything at resonable volumes (when people are home). But when I turn it up pretty loud it starts to get a little fuzzy.
Im going to hook up my dvd\cd player and see if theres any distortion, if there isnt I guess its my computer.

Well my mom won a 19 inch philips tv. Now its not a specific "computer monitor" but you can use a computer hookup. and I want to use it as my primary monitor as its nicer than my samsung 19 inch and it has built in speakes that are probably better than my speakers i have now.

Ok so my hdmi cable finally arrived today and i put her on and the quality of the image seems far less then the standard DVI. It seems like the colors are all weird also, it just doesnt seem right. Also when i put it into full 1080p the computer screen doesnt even take up the whole screen.

Whenever i try and play need for speed undercover on our new 47 inch lg it says "invalid input" and turns black. Im running the stardard vga cable, no hdmi cables, is that my problem?

no i couldnt. i checked lowes, ace, home depot, any local computer shops, any metal working shops, they had didly squat! Its really amazing how they didnt have what i was looking for... So that was my last resort.
