Great! Thanks for the info. I was affraid that was the case. I like G35 volume control on it but with headphone and Modmic, I won't have that option. I was hoping that ZX ACM controlled headphone volume no matter if you plug it in to ACM or back of the card. I would like mic(If I go that...
Thanks for info. One thing I don't think you touched up on was(Maybe I missed it) if volume control(I only use headset or headphone) only adjusts ones that are plugged in to ACM only or also adjusts headset/headphone that are plugged in to card itself on back of your PC?
Thanks
Also, I'm assuming mic included in Soundblaster Z/ZX doesn't have build in noise cancelling like Modmic? Sometimes my kids and wife makes noise around where I play game and would hate when their voice or noise get picked up.
My G35 mic is broken so I started look for a new one. I came across Modmic and it looks to be a good option. However, I tried JVC HA-RX700 that I bought couple of years back and noticed static which I'm thinking same thing will happen with Modmic if I use onboard audio of my MSI Z87 G45...
Hi,
I normally play BF4 with some of my friends almost everynight. I mostly play FPS although sometimes I would play RPG but main focus is FPS. The problem started couple of nights ago when everything worked fine and I set my G35 on my desk as I normally do. Next night, I pick up G35 and...
I thought I was going to be able to play ultra at 1680x1050 with GTX780 at constant 60fps? Spec in my signature and it stutters and dips to high 30s and low 40s at times?
Hi,
I bought a video card from Newegg couple of days ago and like many computer parts the price changed but in favor of me this time. I don't have any plan to buy anything from Newegg for a while since this video card cost me fairly good amount of money for me. I got $28.99 back as gift...
I bought mine when it was $520 and lady I was chatting with gave me almost $30 back as GC. I would have preferred money back though. So talk to them and they should give it back.
Like most of you, I'm just waiting to play this for now but have 2 question.
1. Couple of weeks ago, I read something like people are getting better fps with Windows 8 than Windows 7? Is this still the truth? Or was it ever?
2. Again, I was browsing through some random forums and saw...
I FORGOT I WAS SELLING THIS! :(
NEW PRICE UPDATE 10/10/12
Hi,
I haven't sold things here in a while but I'm back here again to sell my iPod Touch.
Those of you who bought things from me before should know I only sell pristine condition(most of them were not even used at all) items and...
I would very appreciate beta key if someone has an extra or one that he/she won't use. I would appreciate more if the one would provide 2nd key for my brother too.
:D
I was modding plastic piece for floppy power connector so I have about 1/8" more room for ODD and I messed it up. It must have been something that I ate this morning giving more strength but I put too much force and cut it in half rather than trimming it. Yeah, it's really coming down to...
Filter? You are not exhausting hot air out? It will get hot real quick. :) Remember, that's the reason why I got SG05 front cover temporary till I find time to mod my SG06 front cover.
I put all my cables on right side close to power switch. It's not visible there and doesn't block...
Thank you very much guys. But I've failed you last couple of month with update :(
I'll be a good boy and take some pictures although not much changed since last time.
Sorry guys, I had so many things happen since last update including the company I work for spin off a new company and we had to(still are) setting everything up from scratch. Also much longer commute(suck with gas price nowadays) and toll. :(
I haven't had much chance to work on this and...
I haven't worked on mine yet as there were lot of things happened like new company spin off and relocated and all but this is what I had done till this Feb.
Hope this helps you.

I really need to work on this again. :(
If mod it vertically, I think it will still have enough to mount PSU vertically next to PCIe slots.
Also, it looks like even though it's going to be very tight fit, you can mount MATX mobo horizontally on it's original location after modding back side.
Hard to tell without actual case but it looks somewhat easy. Gut out internals, sheet of aluminum to mount mobo vertically and another sheet of aluminum to make back side which seems to be held together with rivet.
And you still get to keep front and top 140mm and 120mm back fan.
I can't buy...
After having couple of glasses of wine, I thought about modding this case for MATX mobo. Wish someone/company sponsor me this case for me to mod. :) Of course understanding that it will take a while to finish :) I think this case is perfect for air cooled MATX conversion.
Looks great, I can think of modding it already! But I still gotta finish what I'm working on(it's been too long) One thing is, it looks freaking hugh for mitx otherwise it's great!
Not too flashy but not too plain either. Looks to have good fit and finish. Don't know about real life though)
Haven't worked on this for awhile. I've decided to mod front cover. I'm planning to cut slant part of front cover and cover it with round mesh. I've ordered mesh today so it should be here in couple of days. Now, I need to find time to dremel and file(yeah, more filing. Great :()
Also...
Not trying to threadjack but check my build to check another SG06 with this mod.

If it is 2", I think that person might have used Lian Li PSU extender where as I used NZXT. Everyone that I know who have done this mod mounted out side of the...
I originally had DFI with one that I'm building now and I say H55N is better. i5 750 OC is limited to 3.4Ghz(unless you want to kill your board) where as I had to down clock mine to 3.6Ghz because I can't control temp not because of mobo.:D
I did further testing and I might raise it back up to 3.7Ghz. I ran IBT longer and it's failing at 2nd pass with lower voltage. it's getting real close to 3.7Ghz voltage.
Also, I tried to take front cover off as I was suspecting there just isn't enough vent to exhaust hot air and that's why...
