Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Single arm retails for a little less than 200. My price 125 firm. Brand New untouched. Thought about a wall mount decided against it but too late to return. If you want it shipped its another 20 via paypal.

Ok, I've got a DVR that records my security cameras. The damn hard drive started getting errors and I replaced it. Now I'm erasing it with killdisk and boy it is HOT! When I get the replacement, I thought about adding it to the system but the heat buildup scares me and it could be the reason...
I bought one of those IDE to USB cables a while back and now I need to use it. Plug it in, says it recnogizes the drive in windows but doesn't assign it a drive letter.
Went to the home company's page and they don't offer a driver download.
Any ideas??
The one I have is called the...
Silverstone has a great case in the TJ07 but it doesn't do well with the quiet side of things by itself.
I settled for a Tuniq heatskink and stock fans for a while but the noise was very noticeable. Not to mention the BFG OC 8800 GTX
Here is an old pic:
I was replacing my...
Ok,
I've got an old SB75g2 Shuttle that has decided to start randomly rebooting. Before trying out different hardware I was wondering if any of you have a checklist you follow when you run into this.
I've already run memtest all night and the the ram is fine.
You can see from my sig my stats.
I'm looking for a high end STABLE motherboard preferably from ASUS to replace my current motherboard.
I don't want to switch to DDR3 when I have some great DDR2 ram and my choice is the ASUS MAXIMUS FORMULA LGA 775.
Is this really the best choice if I...
I just got 2 500gb drives 32mb ram and the computer is about 4 inches away on my desk.
every now and then I hear 2 clicks about twice an hour from one of the drives.
I'm wondering, since I just got them, is this a failure waiting to happen and is there any test I can run on em to tell...
I'm burning a huge 15GB set of files for some soldiers overseas but for the life of me I can't find out how to allow the burn to continue to a new disk instead of saying it wont fit on just one.
Anyone have any ideas?
This is nero 7.9.6
I've got 2 10k rpm SATA drives at 130gb each and 2 32mb cache 500 GB drives.
I was thinking of going RAID 1 for the 2 10k drives for OS and basic apps and going RAID 1 for the 2 500GB drives for main storage files.
Is this the best way to go or should I put everything in RAID 5? Does...
I already have one raid set up with 2 drives and I want to set up another with 2 other drives I've purchased.
Is there any limitation to 2 raids on these new motherboards?
(see sig)
Well all the power is supposed to come from the USB. I bought their "extension" for it that actually uses 2 usb connections to give it enough power.
Hopefully you're right.
Can't figure this out.
It worked the first time, backed up my files, then I tried to plug it in later, locks computer, unplug the usb, computer is back.
tried rebooting, turning off and rebooting, tried plugging in then turning on computer, same result.
its directly plugged into the...
Its wierd. I can tell it to shut down in windows all day long and it will shut down completely, but then it reboots just for fun immediatly and I can't figure out why. Any ideas?
sig has details
We've got an older guy (80) who runs the neighborhood patrol in our neighborhood and every year we get him a gift. This year he's been complaining about his old mouse (still has a ball in his mouse) and I'm looking to get him something that is really accurate #1 and easy to use with buttons on...
My mom has been on the phone complaining about her POS work computer. PRoblem is her boss is a complete asshole and wont help and he hordes all the passwords. Her comp is just about to give and I'm trying to set up an old Shuttle as a backup in case it blows so she can work. I've managed...
I have to agree with Bill.
50C idle is pretty good. My quad core 6700 is overclocked to 3.2 and the idle temps are around 55-57C max load just under 70c
From what I've been told here are those are pretty good temps
yeah but if you are going to fork over 300+ I would argue the TJ 07 Silverstone is superior.
4 120 mm fans 2 92mm
solid alunumium and most importantly, the hard drive and power supply are completely separate from the motherboard keeping all heat sources from mixing with each other.
I've got the same case and my solution was two 60mm fans in an IDE slot. Works pretty well

I've got a QX6700 running multiplier 12@ 3200ghz.
Core Temp puts the temps of the cores at around 55C Speedfan says they are 40C.
How do I know who to believe and most importantly, when does the temps of the cores get too high to be safe?
Thanks
I personally cant stand the privacy doors on the fronts of new cases which is why I went with Silverstone's TJ07
