Well, last night at 2am I pulled the trigger on the NEC LCD2470WNX :D I got the white on white one, I really hope its better than the HORRIBLE gateway TN panel I had...the colors were so bad aswell as the viewing angles! I hope i made the right choice

sad day... guess im getting the NEC 2470WNX... it might not be a IPS but it sure as hell isnt a TN... blah!

I just saw this LCD on new egg... i know the 20" version of it was a IPS panel... looking at the manual PDF it says TFT - TN ... does this mean its a TN panel? and why would it be a TN panel if the 20 inch is the IPS one?

well im returning my second FHD2400 due to horrible backlight bleeding... I can say that the first day I got it... it had zero backlight bleed, 3 days later... horrible!!!! every day it got worse... im returning it, and getting the NEC lcd2470wnx... no more TN panels for me... they suck :)

Thank you Clockdogg, i do have a quick question tho... I have heard that the BenQ has a black out problem... is this true? I have heard wounderful things about NEC... are they a better quality company than BenQ? Ill have to search the input lag on the BenQ but i thought it was the same as...

Im thinking of getting this LCD, the only thing that is scarying me in this input lag i keep hearing about... is it that bad? I play FPS games like Crysis, Doom 3... i had a gateway FHD 2400...(BACKLIGHT was bleeding horribly) it was rated at 5ms and i didnt notice any lag...so would 6ms be any...

I just got my second Gateway FHD2400 after returning the first one due to horrible backlight bleed... My first one was a September model, the new one i got this morning is a October model... NO BACKLIGHT BLEED... i cant believe it, ive had it running all morning, ran doom 3 (Very dark game)...

i tested the FHD2400 at bestbuy with a all black background and the backlight bleed was very minimal, yes i know the store was not dark or anything but i could tell... I think it is possible to get a good panel, as some have received a good screen with little to no backlight bleed.

mine was HORRIBLE.... each side had bleed that went 4 to 5 inches in... it was distracting EVEN when i was surfing the net... regardless to say... i returned it and my new one is being shipped to me, i should get it by next wensday
