Thanks.:)
Hey,
I have two blue 12'' cold cathodes and im not sure what i should do with them. My side panel isn't transparent, so i don't see much of a point in putting them in there, i know there is a clear side panel for my case, but i already went through trying to order it and long story short, i...

I was doing a AVG antivirus scan and the next thing you know my computer just restarts its self. When i get back to windows the ''Windows has recovered from a serious error'' box came up and when i click the ''send error report'' it takes me here...

Which would be a better choice for an upgrade? I am also upgrading my proc to a Q6600 on my 680i board, but as for video card i am stuck with these two to pick from. I already have the 179.19 drivers so if i pick the GX2 i already have installed drivers for it. But i hear of micro stuttering...
This is for all of you, who are impatiently waiting for that new CPU, the X58 boards with that new socket and that triple channel DDR3 support. Maximum PC has managed to get their hands on everything needed to build one of these systems. They give single, dual and triple channel memory setups a...

Anyone know of such PSU? I am going to upgrade to a Q6600 and a 9800 GX2 sometime later on. But i doubt my current OCZ Stealthxstream 600W can handle it all. Plus it doesn't have a eight pin connecter. But i need it to be reliable and pretty cheap but still have good wattage.
Do i have to spread it around or what? or do i just put a small dot in the center?
Thinking about using Arctic Silver 5:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835100007
I may upgrade to a Core 2 Quad Q6600 from my Core 2 Duo E4400 on my 680i SLI SE board. But do i need to reinstall my OS?. Also is it ok if i put the mobo on a box?(like one of my console boxes like PS3's). Even tho the back of the mobo may get messed up if i just place it on a box right?
This is the first time i have had my PC freeze. I decided to get the latest Nvidia drivers(175.19) and when downloading them i forgot to uninstall my old one first. So after i got done downloading and installing the new drivers, i went into control panel and went to where it said Nvidia drivers...

I dont plan on OCing, and the rest of the parts are the same besides the motherboard. I have price out both and the Intel build it $637 and the AMD build is $687. I have a 3870 in both. Every ones says Intel is better but the Phenom i was thinking about getting is a 2.2Ghz Quad core Phenom. The...
I saw on newegg on the M3A-32 MVP mobo and it the specs it says this :Memory Standard DDR2 1066/800
* DDR2 1066 is supported by AM2+ CPU only
So do i need to get 1066mhz RAM?
I dont know much about AMD's best Phenom motherboards. Could someone please price out a good phenom system. I already have a case, monitor and KB/Mouse, but the rest is a mystery. I dont have plans to OC. I may go Crossfire in the future tho. And i need a DDR2 mobo that doesn't need a BIOS...
I am going to change the insides of my computer to a more high end system. I still need a motherboard, can someone please recommend me a good motherboard that is compatible with 45nm CPU's out of the box(like the E8400) and DDR2 memory. Heres the system so far:

I have my PS3 running in 480i res on a ''15 or so Memorex TV. Anyone else got a simular setup going? Hopefully i can get a better TV soon with at least 720p res. Sometimes black lines go up and down the screen which is pretty annoying while gaming. Any one as less fortunate as me?
I have a Evga 680i SLI SE and i have a stock C2D E4400 CPU in it and was thinking about upgrading to a Q6600 CPU. But can someone give it to me in steps for upgrading the CPU. Like do i need to reinstall or take the CMOS battery out? and for how long?
Thinking about upgrading from my 8600 GTS, and i would like to know how is the performance with it in games. I am also upgrading my CPU from a C2D E4400 to a C2D E6850. I am not getting a Quad since all i do is game and go on the internet, i don't benchmark or OC or photoshop. BTW do i need to...
So i walked into target to get GTA IV today and i find that there are about 25 or so copies left on shelf so i bought one. If anyone lives in VA,(Alexandria) and want GTA, just go to the landmark Target at bailey crossroads and there are tons of PS3 and 360 copies there. BTW GTA IV is very good...
I was just wondering if i can use the out-of-the-box BIOS of my 680i SE SLI motherboard to upgrade to Windows Vista? If so, then how would i upgrade to it? I reformat my HDD(or does the Vista CD do it?) and then i put the Vista CD in when its in BIOS or booted into Windows?
need some ideas for a good case. And i came to these, but i would like to see the amount of space in both of them. So if you have either please post it. Looks like the 690 can barely hold a GTX. So it might not fit any future cards.
Did anyone order a E8400 yet? Or are you waiting for the other ones to come out? I can't get Wolfdales because my motherboard(Evga 680i sli se) doesn't support 45nm CPU's.:(
