You can probably do it if you're rooted and change the CPU governor or something, but I don't see the point. Doing so will probably just cause the device to heat up more than necessary while gaining a negligible amount of performance.

Only major flaw with this phone is lack of a microSD slot. Wish it had one. As such, it's off my list of phones to consider. For anyone that doesn't need a microSD slot and wants something smaller than the Note 3, this looks like an amazing phone.

I'd pay good money for Homeworld 3. The original is still the best space game I've ever played. Sins is a good game, but it's a totally different style of gameplay.
