Speak of the devil. It's now at $169 - $40 MIR again. Bite quick and bite hard.
Couldn't help but order one for myself at this price, though my wallet's already hating me. I went to England for two weeks and my 120GB Agility was missing when I got back. Granted I had a very trusted friend...
That's the most BS thing I've ever heard.
Get a bunch of people together that've been told this horrible excuse and start a class-action. I'd love to see it.
Complete lack of class.
Can't Microsoft just set aside a team to make shinier PCs, sleeker MP3 players, while hiring a few celebrities to plug how amazing cool the product lines will make you? Apple's deserved a slew of bitch slaps for a long time now.
Getting my new rig parts next week and I figure I might as well try to squeeze out a deal on my weapon of choice: Steam.
If you've happened upon any Steam gifts, I could be interested. Prices are negotiable. I've only been purchasing with no Heatware, so please have a solid Heatware rating...
Had it in my cart, looking for other pieces to round out my new rig and *poof*. Guess I didn't realize how good this deal was.
"Settled" for the OCZ Agility 120 GB. Looks pretty solid from the reviews; I just had to bite on some SSD after the frenzy.
Yeah, didn't anticipate yet another price raise, but at least I got my order in. Free 6 foot HDMI cable with the combo deal.
Now to figure out the last couple parts so I'll be ready for gaming goodness next week. :D

It's been about fifteen minutes I'd say. Was thinking someone would post about it in the HotDeals forum, but there it is for those interested.
I'm waiting on the 5870 personally. Curse you NewEgg!
Huh. Disappointing number of games that support X-Mode, but surely that will improve should this really take off.
Still wondering when a Socket 1366 mobo will be announced.
You seem to have enough power to me.
If I were you, I'd try to wait six months when ATI's yields will be perfect and nVidia competition drives prices back down some. Then bite on whatever looks the best.
I had the XFX 5850 in my cart yesterday, but couldn't bring myself to bite. I really want a 5870 for some reason.
I'm thinking I'll jump on any 5870 at this point. Any other piece I may need for my new rig will be easy to find, and I've never had a video card conk out on me. *knocks on wood*...
I'd hope they were "tracking above target for the production of the ATI Radeon HD 5700 series." There are about ten billion of those in stock on Newegg right now.
Anger level rising.
I'd never do it personally - I like to know women are into me for my many qualities which don't involve my checkbook - but I fail to see how this is reprehensible.
Consent is consent.
Seems like the VisionTeks are still around. I'm refreshing my shopping cart constantly with the 5850 in there, waiting for ANY 5870 to pop up.
I really don't want to settle in this case, but I'm itching bad. Someone restrain my credit card grabbing hand.
Doesn't belong in an article of this sort, IMO.
They both sold very well, especially Half Life 2, and if they cared to include gaming leaks, they'd have to think leaks for albums, movies, and every other piece of media on the planet.
I don't even remember the Doom 3/Half Life 2 leaks being...
I didn't even realize slaps were used as punishment these days. The only time I feel a slap is appropriate is when a woman in a bar tosses her cosmopolitan at another. That's a cat fight move.
Just cut to the spanking. Slaps, as a punishment, will typically cut the lines of communication...
I don't think anyone's mentioned it specifically yet, so I'll throw another mobo into the fray.
ASRock X58 Extreme LGA 1366 Intel X58
It's cheap, feature-heavy, and it's a Tom's Hardware 2009 Recommended Buy.
To be the Devil's Advocate, I was "correct" more often than my parents I'd say.
Of course being "correct" has no bearing when you're living under their roof. But hell...some parents are immature. Some parents are too strict, some are too soft. They're humans too.
I'm surprised IBM didn't contact me for this. All this computing power in the brain of a slacker.
Oh well, nVidia seems to want every market in the computing world. Only a matter of time until they start harvesting brains to compete with IBM on this.
I honestly don't see anything on the mid-to-high end that'll be discounted on Black Friday.
Maybe nVidia will fire back with minor discounts for the day, but even that is nebulous.
Jesus Christ, is that a mislabeled Xbox or a video card?
That *thing* takes up a third of the mobo. Hope it walks my dog, bakes cakes, and gives me verbal reassurances whenever I get killed.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll wait for the 5870 to come in stock.
I was strongly considering the 5970 until the poker hall flipped me upside down and shook everything it could out of my wallet.
It's rough man. I have a massive steel case in an unopened box, a D0 i7 920, 6 GB DD3, Windows 7 Pro, a 300 GB Velociraptor, and a 950 watt PSU all itching to be used.
The mobo I want is going to be cake to get; I need a video card now!
I hope you're right.
Right now, I have a XFX 5850 constantly being refreshed in my Newegg shopping cart. I'd rather have the 5870, but I'm not sure how long I can hold out...
Do I need a special mobo that supports SSD to utilize the drive? Do I need a controller card?
Or...do the drives simply connect via SATA? Somehow I can't find this information anywhere. Just articles on WHY I should or shouldn't have an SSD drive...
As much as I hate the lack of competition in the GPU arena right now, I'll welcome this as a kick in the ass to a GPU provider with a growing Napoleon Complex.
Hopefully this will really push nVidia to develop something powerful and quicker in future cycles. They won't be forgetting this...
