Once you learn how to set it up will you let me know how to do it, I will donate for your time :) I am trying to get a 3080 and a 3090.
Found one now, has a walkthrough video. I need to scrape the code because I just don't trust people. Will be back in 30 at most. Test on a newly made account shows it works but that was just a 10 gift card used for a magnet purchase to test.

Ok, this bit was well written, it doesn't have nefarious code in it, it literally just does an availability message check and refresh. The plus it will complete checkout completely when the parameters have been met. It stops after one so there will not be a free bot army, I have to commend the guy that wrote it because for the Amazon portion alone that I used it works perfectly.

OMG the best buy one was up, I clicked purchase, and boom it's gone out of my cart. I'm done...

lol retiring. Gonna wait maybe 1-2 years enjoy whoever can get the cards. I'll stick with my GTX 680.

Well several of us "won" the race but still got our orders cancelled. I think I will cool off on the search until more stock manifests, not worth the headache right now.

At Bestbuy, the PNY version had Add to Cart, I was amazed seeing that, looked at it and it is just plain too ugly. Played some Crysis came back, all gone. Pity the fool.

The MSI Ventus X3 showed Add to Cart for me a second ago on Best Buys website but it wouldn't let me add it to my cart. Not sure if it was legit or not. Back to sold out.

Look at these losers camping at MC 2 days ahead to get a 3090 lmao.

Thing is, based on the 3080 launch they handed out reserve tickets to stop people waiting like this. Enough got word of this they're probably trying their luck (or else they really are that dedicated :p).

Imagine being a normal customer during the day and you see these smooth brains stinking up the entrance with their tents and lawn chairs lol.

It always amazes me why people camp out to get a luxury product that will be available in ample form if you only wait for some months. American consumerism at it's worst IMO.
Most of them are probably just there to scalp anyways.

PNY XLR8 Going in an out of stock at BB for $749. I want another brand besides this one or I would've grabbed it. It gave me the option to pick up at store Oct. 9th or had it shipped by 9/30.

Best Buy was just showing the MSI available but failed to add to cart. I think this one is a potential bug though and it randomly shows up here and there?

Random question for the people that got "in stock" emails from Nvidia. Does the link take you to a special page or is it just the same as refreshing on the product page?

I can't even come close to relating to someone who values their time so little to camp outside a store for a gaming toy for two days. I'd find it sad, if it wasn't so cringy on multiple levels. And adults, no less.

Even if the intent is to scalp, and these sell for $2000, that's like what $500-600 for two days of rough sleeping, missing work/school/personal development etc?

Am I missing something here someone could explain the rational here? (honest question).

I did it 15 years ago on Xbox 360 launch with a couple friends. It was just one night at a Wal-Mart. We brought a tent, played RISK board game for hours, stayed up all night talking and laughing and each of us got a launch Xbox 360. We had fun. I was 26 years old at the time. I'd do it again, if my buddies asked me to.

Not all of life has to be soo serious. Have some fun before you die.

My college roommates and I staked out the PS2 midnight release at a Wal-Mart. Not quite camping out for 2 days, but it was 6-7 hours and honestly a ton of fun.
If I had nothing better to do I'd consider camping out for a 3090 tomorrow myself. The catch is that I have work that day and I'm not sure that's gonna cut it at my Microcenter. They've been screwy with prior releases and I'm not about to camp for nothing.

Back then, it was one night. I did it for Black Friday 4-5 times, 360 launch, PS3 launch (that one was easy, I knew of a gamestop that had jsut opened that no one else did), PS2 launch, etc.

But... now? Now it's 2-3 nights of camping out. Black Friday got to the point that people started camping out on Wednesday, skipping thanksgiving entirely. So yeah, I stopped - and it's gotten nuts.

I've never camped out overnight but I used to get to places really early for console and game launches when I was in college. Usually it was with a buddy or two so it was kind of fun. Since then I've gone to a few midnight launches but I wouldn't bother getting to the place too early. Maybe about an hour in advance.

I tried the 1 hour early to get a SNES classic at Walmart, and was woefully late to the party...no SNES classic for me at launch.

IMO, it's kinda weird that they're doing this stuff at 6AM Pacific. I'd much prefer a midnight release for the sake of letting me get back to my life.

EVGA.com will have FT3's this afternoon according to Jacob the product director. Doesn't say what time though just the rough afternoon estimate.

Part of me wants to avoid this mess and hold out for the 20 GB 3080 cards but not gonna lie, if I can catch one of the models that I want in stock it's gonna be REAL hard not to at least try to snag one. Not going to play the whack-a-mole game, though. Mid October isn't that far away.

Aaaannnndddd EVGA is down. At this point I don't care if I don't get a card...im here to watch all the sites go down.
