Case options for WHS build... (4 HDD minimum)

I think $250 is a pretty conservative amount. I received confirmation from them and once you actually get it to the US and to your door... your looking at $400 tied up in it.

Case options for WHS build... (4 HDD minimum)

Meet the baddest Mini-ITX 4-Bay Chassis you'll ever see: http://www.abee.co.jp/Product/CASE/acubic/T20/index.html Obviously it's ridiculously expensive and totally not worth it, just something to drool over... EDIT: Looks like it can actually hold 6 drives not including the 5.25 bays!

Recommend me a a mini ATX case

Well unless I'm mistaken, the PC-A05 is the only ATX case. The V300 and PC-V350 are only Micro-ATX. The PC-Q7 is Mini-ITX. The PC-A05 is one of the smallest ATX cases. Your budget is that of the Coolermaster? Isn't that case like $35?

Best case for PS3 watercooled Rig

Well, judging by Rossi's 31 days here at [H], he probably got caught up with the other posters' comments and thought he could really put the message over the top with that rude comment. I don't post that often but it's posts like that that make me have a love/hate relationship with internet...

Will the Ultra X3 1000W power an Overclocked Skulltrail, 4 8800GT's, 3 Hard Drives?

Hello all, I'm in need of a good modular power supply. I've been considering the Ultra X3, but the single 12v has me worried. This rig will be used for folding as well, so both CPU's and 4 GPU's will be pegged at full load much of the time. I'm not knowledgeable enough about amperage...

Windows 7 Beta Outperforms XP and Vista

Well like I said I'm not an expert enough to know of "special work-arounds," But the BIOS, Windows, and CPU-Z recognize 8Gb, so I assume that it is capable of being used. If not, I couldn't tell without benchmarking. Oh, and by the way I never claimed "Vista is teh suck, server 2008 is...

Windows 7 Beta Outperforms XP and Vista

You do realize this ISN'T impossible, yes? "By Definition" it can only support 4Gb, but there are a couple of ways to circumvent this. I'm surprised that you did not know this, what with the needless exhibition of your knowledge and all. The one I'm referring to (and utilizing) involves...

    Did batman design this case?

I was torn between love and hate as well, but I bit the bullet and will give it a try. It wouldn't be worth it at all to me if I was using an ATX board, but I needed an E-ATX for my D5400XS. I will likely post pics in the Mod section as I already have some ideas. Did anyone else notice the...

Windows 7 Beta Outperforms XP and Vista

I'm no MS fanboy, and do use Gentoo and Mythbuntu, but I have to say this whole Server 2008 = Vista is wrong. Yeah it's the same kernel, but if you read the reviews no one can give a definite 100% reason as to why it performs so much better. I have to say that Server 2008 is the best OS I've...

    [H]ard Sff Club

No offense taken, I've owned the TJ08 and believe it or not the NSK3480 is better on wire management. Wires can be concealed with some dremeling and I made a note of that on Anandtech, where it is listed for sale. This is a spare rig that didn't actually get any use, so I decided to sell it...

Post your ebay/geeks.com dual monitor arms

Hmm.. that one that was vertical was perfect, but $100 is just too much for an aluminum tube with some clamps on it. I bet a person with a few tools and some know-how could make these (any type) fairly cheaply. I'll keep looking!

Post your ebay/geeks.com dual monitor arms

So do you guys know of a monitor arm that can mount the two LCD's vertically instead of side by side? Specifically, I have two small 14''s that I'm using for a project, I would really like them to be stacked. If not it's cool, but I'd really like to find one.
