Thanks for the info.
Just to confirm though this is not harmful for the LCD in any way right (connecting 2 inputs at the same time)? First time trying this. :)
P.S: When you say middle button, you are counting the power button too right? (am awaiting a HDMI cable so can't try this out right now).
I want to connect my TV tuner to the VGA of the DELL 2209WA and my system to the DVI both at the same time.
Is this possible with the DELL 2209WA or will it cause any problems. If it can be connected this way how do I switch between the 2 inputs?
TIA

When I started working I was given an LCD and within 6 months I had to get glasses as my eyesight started getting bad (the quality of the LCD...
Actually I was wondering why Xeon's are not on people's mind.
Is there something about their technology that makes them "inferior" to the other desktop processors in some way? Or was it bad marketing etc?
Pardon my ignorance on this (I'm a relative newbie here), but I was wondering why nobody uses Xeon's in a desktop?
Is it because there mobo, other peripherals that are compatible with it are way too costly, or that specialized software is required for it or something else altogether?
It may be a good idea to plan your upgrade in Jan '08 or early Feb and then go for the best bang/buck at that time.
That should be the Q6600 I think, as they would be a little cheaper by then (I hope) or maybe a cheaper Quad Penryn would be released.

Move to lock the thread (and if necessary delete it too).
