SP1 totally messed up my system, well my sound card at least. My microphone no longer worked, and the only thing the sound card outputted was a loud, distorted noise. I ended up uninstalling it and everything's back to normal.

Yep, that's how it should work. You can still use the weapons which are mounted on vehicles, but you just have to switch to the correct seat/position first. EDIT: Beaten to it!
