From what I'm told, you may be waiting quite a long while...as in months. There MAY be a few on the market at the end of October, but that's not definite, and other than that, its going to be around 3 months or more before anything shows up in the US.
This is correct...there is no such thing as free shipping. According to our UPS rep, companies like this pay only a fraction of what it costs other smaller retailers due to the volume they ship, but it still isn't free.

I think I have over 5 years of daily use on mine and it still works perfectly as well. I have a G5 also, but use it at work because I still prefer the 518 for gaming. GREAT mouse.
