Monitors larger than 32", but not curved or ultrawide?

I use a 3 monitor setup (main central in landscape and side monitors portrait). My main monitor (32") is getting flaky and just turning off then coming back on and I want to replace it. I'd like to go a little larger than 32", but it seems once you go up to 34" or larger they're all ultrawide...

Comparing a few z790 boards for multi GPU

I'm going to be using 2 gpu's (probably 4070 Supers) and am looking for a board that will bifucate the 16x slots in to 2 8x. Considering: ASUS ProArt Z790-CREATOR WIFI $439 ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero $529 ASRock Z790 Taichi $479 Any others that I should consider?

Considering 14900k for 3D/Gaming rig, looking for most PCIe lanes.

This is something I've noticed in the past while working, there's a definite performance loss while you're actively working if you are using the same GPU to render with. If you offload the rendering to a dedicated gpu, it's like no performance issues at all, like you're not even rendering. I've...

Considering 14900k for 3D/Gaming rig, looking for most PCIe lanes.

Good question. I'm guessing I don't. The rendering gpu might benefit from the direct cpu connection, but I'd think the other card driving the monitors might be ok on the chipset. Just guessing though.

Considering 14900k for 3D/Gaming rig, looking for most PCIe lanes.

Time for an upgrade. I do 3D work and GPU rendering, so use 1 card to drive the monitors (and gaming) and the other card for rendering. Current system is an i7-6700K, with 2 gpu's, a GTX 1060 and a GTX 1070. It has served me well for several years. Looking now at an i9-14900k, and most likely...

Recommendations on new build (3D GPU rendering)

First, thanks for the feedback, I'll look into all your suggestions. That case is not a requirement, I just tend to pick large cases because I've never finished a build and said "there's too much room in there". I have gotten annoyed when a case is too small. But I doubt I would use all of...

Recommendations on new build (3D GPU rendering)

I'm starting to figure out a new hardware build. Primarily interested in working with Cinema 4D and Redshift. For now, looking at: CPU: Intel Core i9 12900K Mobo: GIGABYTE Z790 AORUS Master RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB Series 32GB 2 x 16GB 288-Pin SDRAM DDR5 6400 Main drive: Samsung EVO 970...

Looking for 32" monitor suggestions (mainly for graphics work)

I use 3 monitors, a main central and left and right side monitors that are rotated vertically. The main is an old Dell 3008WFP that has served me well for ~11 years. The side monitors are Acer EB321HQU Cbidpx 31.5" WQHD that I got last year, I've been happy with those as side monitors. The Dell...

Looking for keyboard recommendation (backlit with KVM)

I currently have a Logitech G810. Unfortunately, I need to set up a KVM to switch between my work and home computer, and since the G810 doesn't store lighting profiles, I appear to be out of luck. Worse, the engineers thought it would be great to have the default state of the keyboard be a...

    30" t0 40" display. Monitor or TV?

Some background: I'm a graphic artist and spend a *lot* of time both with my day job and with my own work on the computer. For the last several years, I've worked with a 3-monitor setup. One 30" Dell as the main, with a 24" on both the left and right of the main. I want to upsize those side...
