    I have the Dual Link DVI version only, which supposedly cuts down on input lag, etc. Does have a scaler and it is glass over the panel, reflections aren't too bad, the monitor is quite bright. Standard is good, sRGB is way off, but Standard is pretty good. Stand is wobbly, so I have mine...

    Is he on WiFi? On here, it looks like some modems/routers have issues. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4377556?start=60&tstart=0 Also it was suggested to turn off iMessage and turn it back on.

    You could run into compatibility issues with newer programs written say for OS 11 or above.
