    Ok that worked. I'd still like to figure it out though. EDIT: Actually it didnt work, but I replaced my ntuser dat file in Documents and Settings and that worked. All my settings are lost though =\. Oh well, I'm getting my laptop tomorrow so whatever ;).

    Quite frustrated at my WD2500JD

    It actually didn't solve my problem, my system still locked up after about an hour so instead, I just RMA'd the drive and ordered a 300gig Seagate UATA100... and an Asus Z71V notebook :D .
