I just bought this monitor from NewEgg because of all the rave reviews about it and I thought 1680x1050 would be enough resolution, but now I have my eye set on a 24" with 1920 (I'm a graphic designer). Anyways, I want to get around the NewEgg restocking fee, so I figured I would sell it rather...
I'm building a computer with old parts I had laying around and it gets power for a split second (the fans spin a few revolutions) but then it dies. The processor I'm using is a tbird 950mhz and I noticed one of the corners on the core is chipped. I'm just wondering if this would most certainly...
I purchased a Seagate 300GB uata drive and a Bytecc USB2.0 external enclosure a few weeks ago and just recently, the harddrive just starts "buzzing" and ticking 4-5 times then "skipping" with 3-4 ticks really fast. It'll do this for a minute then stop and then start again in a few minutes and go...
Ok that worked. I'd still like to figure it out though.
EDIT: Actually it didnt work, but I replaced my ntuser dat file in Documents and Settings and that worked. All my settings are lost though =\. Oh well, I'm getting my laptop tomorrow so whatever ;).
They're in use. But from the processes, I can't see anything unusual and when I try and stop all the unneeded processes, I still can't delete them.
I just created a folder, copied an mp3 into it, deleted the mp3, and now i cant delete that folder. I have no idea what is going on. I have no...
This just recently started happening. I can't delete ANT of my mp3 folders. I can delete the mp3's inside of them, but NONE of the folders will delete from either my C drive OR my external drive. Old or new, they won't delete at all. Whats the deal? Thanks.
It actually didn't solve my problem, my system still locked up after about an hour so instead, I just RMA'd the drive and ordered a 300gig Seagate UATA100... and an Asus Z71V notebook :D .
I have a Powmax (I know, I know... cheap) 400w powersupply and it was running fine with my:
IBM Deskstar 75GXP 30gb x2
Asus DVD Rom
Plextor CDRW
3 case fans
1 120mm tornado fan
floppy
on my current system:
Barton2500@3200
512 Corsair XMS
Gigabyte GA7n400pro2
gf3ti200
... up...
That's what Im thinking possibly. I do have a single powerline with 3 molex connectors connected to my 3 drives so maybe thats the problem. Ill try running a straight power source to it and see if that works.
Oh, and does it matter whether I use the regular molex connector or the SATA power...
I bought a SATA WD2500JD off NewEgg a few days ago and finally got it in yesterday. Once I got everything running properly (2 30 IBM's in a striping array and the 250 for storage), I thought I was set. I started copying over a lot of files from my friends computer overnight. When I wake up in...
I have a Barton 2500+ (1.83GHz) @ 3200+ (2.2GHz) with 1.67 core voltage and with my aftermarket heatsink (It was one of the best reviewed thermaltakes a little over a year ago) and a stock case fan (very shitty), my idle temperature is at 50-51c. With my gigantic Tornado fan (5000rpm of fury)...
I need money ASAP so I am letting my stereo system go for cheap. It consists of:
Kenwood VR-357 Dolby Digital Receiver
-Surround mode: Dolby Pro Logic
-Surround Sound DSP chips: 24-bit resolution
-Bass management: Full digital, quick setup
-Channel level control: 5.1-channel independent...
