This is a GREAT notebook!! Thought I would post some pics for everyone. It's based on the Sonoma and uses DDRII and a PCIE Geforce 6600 128MB. I'm currently working on a full review, and I'll post a link later.

if its a sonoma/alviso machine, why does it have teh centrino sticker on it?

I'd guess that's because Sonoma/Alviso IS Centrino.

i thought becuase it was a new platform, they were chaging the sticker. way to be a jerk about it

Yeah, I wish they would have changed the sticker. Actually saw a big discussion on that topic somewhere.

Since I'm about 3 hours from them, I got it the next day. I ordered on a Wednesday night, and got it Friday afternoon. ISTNC is a GREAT place to buy from. One of the best experiences I've had.

I'm still working on the review, I'll post a link to it once I publish it. Anyone who has a review is more than welcome to send it to me, and I'll post it up and give you credit.
