Is it IPS?
Now I wanna see a 200Hz version of one of these 1440p IPS beasts lol. DP 1.3 maybe?
I'd be happy seeing a 1440p @ 165. Since we haven't seen that yet, I'm not in a hurry to see faster.
Seen the mg279q...priced at 579 @ egg. Will gsync command a greater price tag?
No, as you can see from the monitor market, Gsync will cost less than freesync.
Expect a $750 - 800 USD msrp for this monitor.
So hte PG279Q should be cheaper....?
Is it not obvious that all Gsync monitors cost much more than FREEsync monitors?
Its obvious you do not know how to answer a question....
Yea figured, the mg msrp is at that price, but slashed to 580 currently
A new look at the PG279Q, in German, however no new information is present although he did say something about October. Any fluent German speakers here to translate what exaclty he says at the 6:10 mark?

Anyone know if it will have the same matte display as the PG278Q? If it's going to have the same matte display, I may end up going with Acer'sXB270HU, as that one doesn't have as strong an AG coating, I think?
Well as far as we know this panel is using the same one as the Acer one.
I was under the impression that it was a totally new panel, and that was part of the delay. Are people overclocking the Acer to 165Mhz or whatever they're claiming this one will be able to do?

It doesn't make any sense since both the 700 and 900 series both use DP 1.2 so why the 120Hz cap on Kepler?
