Steam 2013 summer sale is here!

I've also spent more money on this Steam sale than any other 2 previous sales combined.

I guess some people are never satisfied and always have to complain about something.

You got that right. You could give everyone on here $1 billion, Superman's powers, and 3 blowjobs a day from a supermodel, and yet you'd still have the whiner's bitching about something.

This sale was one of the best I thought. Even at ~350 games before the sale I still spent around $100 bucks.

Full of it BS Steam on gimmick sale.

Few games I remember it's much lower than what they offer now.

Dishonored was 10.19 now 17.99 *corrected*
The Walking Dead was 6.24 now 12.49
Fallout was 2.99 now 11.99
List on and on.

I don't like the way Steam selling faker fixed price on flash banner.

I will be much smarter this time around at Winter Sale.

Walking Dead is still $6.24, I just bought it at that price

If Dishonored was ever $6.40 then I'm bummed I missed it. I'm on the fence at $10.19, not the $17.99 you are seeing.

All the daily prices are the same as previous - it takes a few mins to update...

I picked up dishonored earlier at $10.19 plus the dlc... it's well worth it so far.

If you have room in your backlog before Thanksgiving/Christmas sales, then pick up the games you want to play until then... if not, wait for Turkey weekend and hope the prices are better or the same.

I bought AC2 and AC brotherhood... I loved first AC

All I can say is uplay fucking sucks so bad if I knew i wouldn't have bothered and I don't mind origin. Not to mention the shitty 60fps cap lol.
None of this with first AC....

Just about to buy these, they both use uPlay?

Funny thing about the human psyche, goals often achieve leave you wanting more....always wanting more.

Yeah, but steam sales aren't goals that people achieve. Somehow, some people feel they deserve to get good sales from steam, then complain that their game was only 50% off instead of 66% off or whatever.

Mediocre sale overall, and I say this because on a lot of these titles we've seen these prices or similar before, either in Steam or elsewhere. Nothing really mind-blowingly good.

Haven't messed with brotherhood but I think everything after ac2 is uplay.
I suppose these are just minor bitches I have everyone says the games are awesome.

shhhhh......you'll wake the apologists

"Dis mus be yur 1st Steamz seal, it'z alwayz beenz dis wayz, stup yur cryin" :p

Great Summer Sale, spent some money, have enough games to last until this winter, zero complaints here.

Gonnq pick up Chivalry today and play the crap out of it.

For sure. I'd say SkyUI is the only true must have mod for Skyrim.

Anyone have any impressions of The Cave?

I bought it a while ago very fun game 2D side-scrolling, puzzle oriented, great game presentation. It does get a bit tedious moving 3 characters at the same time in order to solve puzzles etc. definitely worth it I will put it right up there with Vessel, Mark of the Ninja, Deadlight.

For anyone just getting into roguelike, I stumbled upon a pretty good deal with Dungeons of Dredmor Complete which consists of the base game + 2 DLC expansions for $2.50

http://store.steampowered.com/sub/15933

or you can buy directly through the developer and get a DRM-free copy + Steam key

Very fun game for the price... I picked it up on a previous sale and just started playing for the trading cards... fun and good humor in the items, follow the tutorials which are short to get learn the interface and movement quicker.

I'm considering Prison Architect but I might just wait until the winter sale.

I was hoping to see Rogue Legacy drop(it is new but so was Gunpoint) but that doesn't look like it's happening with the last two days being encore days.

I might still buy it at the 20% off on the last day.

Also considering Prison Architect ... pretty unique game, no?

But paying $20 for an alpha? Dunno bout that.

Overall it was a pretty good sale - some days they just had horrible flash deals but I spent about $40 or so...

I spent about $80, not the most I've spent on the sales but I think I got a decent haul(picked up The Cave today). Also got a little of that back from selling cards.

Still thinking about Rogue Legacy but I'm going to wait until the community votes and flash sales make their last run in case it pops up there. Definitely waiting on Prison Architect though.

Well, added Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition and Deus Ex: Human Revolution to the backlog. Can't pass up when they are dirt cheap.

Dishonored @ $10.19
Tomb Raider @$12.49

Either of them worth it?

Absolutely yes to both. I paid $22 for Tomb Raider a few months ago (I rarely buy PC games over $10 anymore, I've got way to much of a backlog)... and I was quite pleased at that price. It's one of my favorite games of the year.

Dishonored I picked up when it was a daily. I'm very glad I did, it's my favorite purchase of the sale. I've already knocked back about 8 hours in it and I'm enjoying it thoroughly.

Wish they would fucking ditch that "Early Access" bullshit, at least when it comes to any sales they have.

We'll I caved and got CS:GO last night. Turns out it was an awesome choice for $5. Reminds me of my old CAL days. Great nostalgia!

Well it looks pretty polished and full featured. For a lot of 'AAA' titles you pre-order full price just to get access in the beta/alpha or whatever, which usually only consist of one MP map.

I purchased it this morning and am downloading now. With those on the forum giving this game positive reviews and for only $5, I figured it's worth checking out.

Its a really good buy.

The sale was great if you're one of the shitty game collectors here who will never play any of them. I had my daughter add to her Steam wallet only to buy Walking Dead. What a fucking waste.

Gotta love how people bitch because deals aren't specifically targeted at their tastes. Fucking entitlement bullshit.

Give us some specific examples of what they would have needed to do in order to please you.

I didn't buy a single game over $5. But I spent the most this sale than any other.

I didn't necessarily see the deals OI wanted but I did manage to pick up several games that looks mildly interesting.

Half-Life 2 (Traded 1 copy of Ace of Spades for HL2)
Bionic Commando + Rearmed
Ace of Spades St. Valentines Day Massacre Pack
Ace of Spades 4-Pack
System Shock 2
Fallout New Vegas Ultimate
Torchlight II 4-pack
Portal 2 - Two Pack
Magicka: Free Jolnir's Workshop (Complimentary)
God Mode 4-Pack

This is why humanity has got to an all time low..
