Windows Feedback Program - Free Vista/Office 2007 - UPDATE!!!

Would the replacement copies get sent out before the copies they are sending out late?

LMAO

got mine today and would love to report that there are 32 and 64 bit disks in the package. the 32 bit has its own cd key and the the 64bit also has another :D

no vista love here in TX, hopefully I'll get my Vista copies before I go to Houston early Sunday morning :(

technically it wasn't "sold" to us. it was given as a "gift" for allowing MS to monitor our computer usage for a while. frankly, i think we'd be able to sell it as it wasn't sold to us in the first place. but i'm prolly wrong....

since its an OEM license (not exactly sure on that though...could be Retail keys but "Not for Resale" like the PowerTogether Vista licenses were), you'd need to include some hardware with the sale.

You are. With the exception of illegal/restricted goods or goods that need a license to sell, there is NOTHING that you can not sell, legally. The rules for the FS board here are of course different, I guess because they don't want companies like MS to BULLY them ('cause that's all it is) for allowing something that doesn't bring much benefit.

Hope my Vista arrived today, but I'm not really expecting it. Not like I'll install it immediately anyway.

Sweet Got mine yesterday!!! But can someone confirm whether these are shipped via a DVD or CD? My XP machine (CDRW) will not read disc one of two for Office Ultimate 2007 however it does read on my laptop (DVD).

Can someone please confirm because disc two reads just fine.

What does the packaging look like?

Mine is coming to my work in NorCal and the mail guys are slow unless I can give them a heads up.

Vista came today for me too.

It comes packaged in a 9x7 padded manilla envelope.

edit:
The keys on each disc are completely different. They might be linked to each other so if one is in the use other can't be used, but it isn't the same key for both discs.

Yeah, I just looked at mine, 32 and 64 bit with two different keys. Whats going on here?

dunno... use discinfo

Would but the drive does not recognize the disc what-so-ever... The light flashes and I can hear the drive trying to read it but nothing ever happens. Will have to try on my PC at work to see if I get the same thing. If not them I may have a defective disc.

got my vista today in Iowa. don't know what i'm going to do with it, now have 2 copies of vista ultimate hanging around. already bought vista & additional licences for my computers at home when it came out last feb

i got my copy of vista 64 and 32 bit today. would've been nice if they were giving vista 64 bit and office not 32 and 64 bit together. but hey it's free i'll take it.. not i'm just not sure if i should install it or not.

thats funny that i got office before most ppl but ppl in cali are getting their vistas before me and im in nj. alot closer to wv than them?

Got my copy in Springfield, IL

Not sure what I'll do with it. Intended on installing it on my workstation, but may stick with Business, as I'm not going to use the extras that it gets me...plus it leaves me with a spare license should I ever need one down the road.

got it in the mail today! haven't even had that silly program since the beginning of the new year

I emailed microsoft and asked if I could install both of the versions on seperate machines at the same time and they said that was ok.:)

Absolutely, xxxxxx, you can install both on different PCs. Each one has a license key on the back.

THANK YOU

If that's true then that's completely fucking awesome...

Since Vista install keys are good for the 32-bit and 64-bit version universally, we all just basically got TWO retail copies of Windows Vista.

SCORE! :D

I'm in Fort Worth, Texas and mine hasn't arrived yet, but I'm anxiously waiting!
