This is extremely ignorant. Secure boot has nothing to do with Microsoft-except them supporting it. Secure boot is part of EFI spec: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unified_Extensible_Firmware_Interface#Secure_boot
Please explain why I have a watermark on my desktop then? If they didn't care about it, they wouldn't have made an internal check for it and display a warning it was disabled.
