just bought 2 green and a dual uv ccfl
here are some pics
last one is with only one of the green lights on and both uv
still trying to place the uv to get best overall effect
once i have it planned out and like the overall desired efffect i will clear coat the case
that way i can touch up any of the scratches flaws etc it the paint before final assembly
and damn the ccfl is hella green with green paint now its brite

some pics of my newly finished rig
ive had the armor case for about 5 months now but just completed everything i wanted to do with my computer. wire management was the big thing for me. i also painted the inside of my case black just in case you dont notice

well i was planning on adding a 120mm to my windows side of panel and guess what the dremel i have been using decided to grenade half way through the cutout.
how you might ask i was using a carbide bit to cut out the cricle and half way through the cutout i notice a slight vibration in the dremel tool turned down the speed a bit then without warning the dremel is all out of balance and i cant hold on to the darn thing i am about to reach over and turn it off because the centrifical force is wrenching out of my right hand reaching with my left then wan the bit goes sailing across the garage lodging in the garage wall along with the collet.
I stop to go change my shorts and come back out to asess the situation it seem from the vibration in the dremel the collet worked it way loose. It also bent the main shaft to the dremel tool itself..
so now im im looking into what i want to replace it with.
then if that doesnt beat all the 80mm fan n the heat sink decide to give up the ghost today i got call fom the wife saying that the utility i use to monitor temps volts etc. Easy Tune 5 from gigabyte is making a beeping sound and fan speed was at 0. I asked here what the temps were on the cpu she told me 46C i told her to finish her email and not to worry about it. Why you might add most peple wouldd be scared s***less with no fan on cpu and 2 instances of folding@home running temps are normaly about 36 to 40 anyways..
So i got home today after looking at dremel etc and decided not to put a 80mm on but this one instead
is it overkill
temps before install of fan were ambient/case 20c and 46c load
now they are 19.8c case and 22 load nice drop if i do sayso myself
and just a temp fix my stay permanent if temps are good
and just for laughs i mounted the switches for ccfl temporary what to ya think i need to get different swithces

Well i reworked this thing a couple of times.
Next up is painting the DVD-Drives in alu-style silver.
I sleeved the sata cables and front panel connectors and tried to route the cables as neatly as possible. Nevertheless I didn't want to do any cuts in the case therefore i opted for routing the power cables visible, but i think it's still rather "clean" looking.

The new parts are, The Thermaltake Blue Orb II Cooler (with Arctic Silver 5),and the Ultra X-Connect 500watt Psu I am also thinking of buying a new gpu cooler but I dont know what one yet (more likly Zalman).

Thanks, yeah I am still making changes on it, but I have been doing it faster because a Lan is coming up and I want to show it off98EXL said:
(second time going).Next changes are a Simple Large Side Window, and a top window also (maybe), I was going to make a AMD64 Logo on the other side but the cables are in the way and the side panel is actual just hanging there but 1 single thump screw
(but lock in, just wont close at that end properly).Also I am going to be cutting out the motherbaord tray to hide some of the cables like the videocard cord, sata cable etc etc, I just wont be able to put the Power cable behind it because its too big and it doesnt bend that good because of the shielding stuff.
and yes another thing I am going to be doing is make a custom harddrive rack so it goes on the motherboard tray, the only problem on this one is I can only put 2 on therem then I wont have anymore room to put more on, unless I make them go on top of the others if you know what I mean.

I'm using a TT Lanfire case, but after looking through here want to return to my Big ol' Xaser III (i'm putting in a new CPU hsf anyways)
I'm going to be putting in some red cathodes, and so I want the case to have a really good red-black feel to it. The idea of painting the inside black sounds awesome. My motherboard has the same color scheme to it as well. Any other suggestions? I've seen alot of UV colors here, but not too many red/black/fire themes.
