should really keep up with things more then, all the builds for bukkit that you talk of are TEST ONLY builds, they emphasis this on their website, that using any of those build with extreme caution. We aren't in the business of testing build and finding bugs for bukkit. Our server is a public active server, we can't afford to run test builds and the risks that come with them.


On the same note, bukkit did release a final recommended build as of 3 hours prior to this post. As soon as I have access to everything I'll begin the update process, if the server is down this is why.

Remember, this isn't just updating bukkit it's updating 16 plugins that we use as well.
 
Update.. I think any kind of mob problem has been fixed... geez they are everywhere now...

nice castle, aparently I suck at scale....

I've been working on the same castle complex for like 2 months now. I build a HUGE wall around a giant area of the map and started building little villages and what not all over the place.
 
Hey guys, can I get back on? I used to be on this server...I think. Or maybe it was the gentleman's who passed (RIP)...not sure.

Hey man, I went to your mob killer after g1 updated the server and it is amazing. The fix for mob spawning made it really good. Come check it out!
 
I cant wait... im trying to get in but for some reason minecraft isnt updating... i wonder how zexx's mob killer is working now

Hey arr4ws, can you destroy the chest you made and protected at the tower? It's empty! I also have spare wool in the floating chest right across from the one I need destroyed that's yours for the taking.

Once I'm done with the tower I'll put the extra glass, stone, and slab in the chests under the cathedral! Thanks man!

And for those of you looking for a small challenge, soon you'll be able to climb and jump your way to the top of the Tower of Remembrance! I'm installing a series of scaffolding's and chandeliers leading to the top of the tower, much like in the Assassin's Creed games! I've already died a few times just making them and testing them out!

The person who owned the server I was building a city in has decided to chnage the hosting from minecraft to some other game :(

So...Is there any chance of a whitelisting :D Username is the same as this one.
 
Corsair Lake is looking great guys!

i've been having trouble finding time to get on as much as i would like, but i checked it out this morning and it's looking awesome :-D

i'm still working on the sewers, i haven't checked the cobblestone chest but i know i'm still gonna need a lot of cobblestone.

it would be tits if i could open that page and log in to my minecraft account and chat while at the same time not play the game....
much easier to chat and view the world from there while at work than it is to actually play the game...

im not sure we want to share our account information on a plugin.
 
Once I take control of the dynamic map and start modifying it I'll see if this is possible!
 
yeah, we'll have to wait till nick gets a hold of things. right now the plugin controls the webserver and everything it has.

there are options to disable all this but that's more up nick's alley.

The chat on the map tho, it's public, ANYONE can chat on it, so no loging in. Some random person could come by and start talking crap and there would be NOTHING we could do about it.

There might be a way to put the chat feature, or maybe the entire map, behind a password. We could post the password here in the OP. It wouldn't be "secure" but it would limit at least most random chat spam.

Thoughts?

i mean, are you guys THAT addicted that you have to chat with everyone else while at work? its not like there is much to write about when you are not playing yourself. leave the dynamicmap as it is, calm down.
also, as far as im concerned, the server was supposed to be vanilla. now we have 16 or so plugins installed, that you dont really need. people seem to forget what we agreed on some weeks ago. vanilla, vanilla, vanilla!

i filled up that chest with cobble, and if you run out, just warp to /home maqzzz, there is several doublechests full of cobble, im just too lazy to warp back and forth to transport it to corsairlake :)

I thought we agreed on mostly vanilla? Seeing as G1 is the admin, he can do what he wants, really. From looking at extra features, I wouldn't think we have 16 plugins installed. I think a lot of them are pretty benign plugins.

I'm not THAT addicted, but... ah who am I kidding. Yes, I'm that addicted :)

Hey, just as a heads up, I dropped a torch at the top of the stairway of G1's Corsair Club after I walked in and came face to face with a creeper and zombie in there.
 
I like the plugins they make it fun and a bit easier to see each others houses

Update: Finally posted the video of me creating my mob spawner. All the levels are the same, this is me building the 6th floor. So if you were curious how I built it (its actually zexx's design) take a look at the video:

Love the Corsair Club. I was walking around upstairs, there was a creeper in one of the bedrooms, he blew up. I fixed it a bit but ran outta wood, so you'll need to patch it a little bit.

You have to add some torches in the bedrooms, too dark in there, they will spawn
