So quick question... if I want to play this and join in on the server, I have to buy the pre-purchase for the beta correct?
 
ok... i bought it. Anychance I could get white listed while I learn to play? my charactor is Absoluttalent

and if I do get whitelisted, do I need to download those maps listed in the first post? or was that just for reference?

Ill add you in the morning when I get home, all you have to do is connect. Depending on the time of day u play should be someone on to show you around
 
Is it normal for that dynamic map page to not completely load the map? It leaves lots of black squares, even if there's someone in that part.

Once I'm done modifying the map and building the website, I was thinking of doing a full render on the world map. That will take care of the black problem.

Its actually now 300. I'm going to setup a time when it'll be set off. 10:00PM Central time (Thats 9:00pm Mountain, my time) tonight.

If G1, arr4ws,dudewth and a few others can schedule that, and at least one of us record it, I think that'll work.

300 is a lot of TNT, and hopefully it'll be as cool as I hope. Certainly not as epic (or horrific and destructive to the server) as the "incident" on Hashland with Ziggbie, but it'll be pretty cool nonetheless. The TNT is dispersed, not stacked, throughout the cavern. 300 is the maximum i'll do. The server could probably handle a lot more, but I want to see how this does before doing another massive set-off.

I should be able to be on! I can try to record it...I'll look for a program.
 
ill be there at 9pm mountain time... 10pm central time or 11pm eastern time!
 
Ill fraps it too if you want an additional angle? I've got a clock set for pacific time (because of steam sales) thats 9pm right?

what are you guys using for fraps im using an older version which has audio lag (win 7 for me), if i use the new version no audio lag but while recording its a bit laggy which i dont like... so how is it for you guys?
 
Do you want it done minecraft resolution or fullscreen stretched to 50 pixel per pixel size?

1080p or 720p would be best, if you can. Though 720 would probably make later transmission easier.
I foresee some dropbox usage in our futures!
 
1280x720 it is then. The monitors i'm on right now are all 1050 :(
But, I wonder if minecraft would still be recorded at the same resolution whatever you resized the window to.

It was a success. Unfortunately, my FRAPS wasn't working while the festivities was going. Fortunately, there were a couple of people recording the whole event.

364 TNT went off (well, most of them...). Photos and videos i'm sure will be posted here by the members.

Fun time everyone! Thanks for coming! We'll have to do it again sometime soon. God knows there's plenty to blow up in Minecraft!
 
mine recording the initial then lagged out and you just hear it blowing up and im frozen... cant even do anything on server now its lagging bigtime
 
Damnit forgot about F1! I got some footage that i'm dropboxing now. Set the window to exactly 1280x720p :D It wasn't too bad for me, there was a slideshow for parts of it.

Server seems fine on my side....the server lagged out for a bit (about a minute?) but returned to normal. I just signed in real quick. Connection issue?
 
I had an issue connecting when AbsolutTalent posted but now I can get in just fine.
