Anyone else a bit bemused by all the unnecessary kinect features being shoehorned into 360 games?

Halo series is seriously the most over rated of all time. Generic FPS gameplay from Halo1-3 and every filler game in between.

Are you seriously trying to convince people here that using Kinect to customise weapons in the new Ghost Recon isn't the best innovation in gaming?! EFF YOU!!!!!

A feature just announced at post press confrence is cloud game saves and no more gamertag recovery. This im really interested in. So now i can go in the other room and game and not worry about which system my gamesave is on

Yeah sorry for not being specific. Their demo was just one big set-piece battle. It looked fun but did nothing to show off the supposed return of RPG elements.

I'm guessing they are book-ending this with ME3 and BF3... might be a bit of a wait till we get to that one.

Sorry ~ Fuck Kinect. 1yr later they can still shove Kinect up their asses. I still have 0 interest in Kinect. What else was shown?

Some Gears 3 footage (care), ME3 (mildly care), another Fable/Molyneux hype machine jizz train (don't care), MW3 (don't care), and Halo 4 (less than mildly care, let's say MEH care). Other 95%? Kinect shit. OH, forgot about Youtube and Bing on the dashboard. How about a stripped down IE9 for 360 with full Flash support? No? Thoroughly disappointing.

Another year, another disappointing Microsoft press conference IMHO. Don't get me wrong, I'm GLAD they're not showing the neXt Box, because it puts minimal reassurance that they're not ready to abandon the 360 (yet). I just expected more, I dunno. More than an abundance of Kinect and...oh....some news on a few sequels. AND HALO!!! [geekgasm] Meh not really. I quit playing Halo after 3. No ODST, no Reach, no [whatever other version there is, if any]. Sorry. I think I'm good on Halo for a while, let's let Bungie do something else for a change.

I'm more eager to see Sony's and what they're going to come out with next, assuming it has nothing to do with Move. Nintendo's ~ I'm more interested in for the shock factor and the unveil, otherwise I could care less that Nintendo made more Scrooge MacDuck money pit warehouses around the world over the last year (due to the ridiculous profits) and Mario's going to start an ice hockey league. Actually, I'd love to see a Mario Ice Hockey game, now that I think about it. :D

need for speed has been shit ever since NFS underground 1 and 2. it will never be the awesome arcade style racing game it once was.
 
Well it didn't take EA long to make the Frostbite 2 engine look like shit. The new Need For Speed is bad bad bad.

you got excited over another stupid CGI trailer? the gameplay videos must have really sucked for them to promote this WoW-clone like a major motion picture.

...so why not do that for every game then?

Not everyone can go snowboarding (especially if you don't live near mountains or cold weather places).

I don't see how you can bash a snowboarding game because gasp! you can do it in real life? I take it you hate racing games, sports games in general, etc?
