I found the Frostbite 2 demo more impressive than the BF3 MP footage... but we didn't really see much.
 
God, I'm so sick of modern day combat warfare games, I just don't care for em at all. Someone please make a modern age BF1942 without EA please
 
If this is realtime on a 360 hardware, im pretty damn impressed, wonder how the hell their gonna keep the framerate up.

right EA ruined it by releasing BF2 which has been by far one of the longest running popular games since its release over 5 years ago.. far exceeding anything COD has released.. yup, EA utterly ruined the series.. seriously dude get over yourself.
 
No Xbox price drop? I was really hoping the Target typo was just a premature advertisement. Oh well, I've waiting this long, guess I'll wait a while longer.
 
XBOX conference was a complete disasster ... My hopes are with Nintendo now... Not particularly interested in Sony unless NGP is shown as something else than a Portable PS3

I hated BF2 in comparison to what was BF1942, but knock yourself out, i'll be busy playing Halo 4
 
BF3 has some killer lighting effects. wonder what the specs were on the computer they were running the demo on.
 
This is the probably the only big name game that will be demoed on a PC this conference (besides MMOs). If nothing else, gotta hand it to DICE for that. Those visuals were very impressive. I wonder how well they will be able to get that running on the consoles.
 
Damnit, no ME3 until March next year.... Owell, looks like i'll have some stuff to keep me busy till then.

Don't ruin it EA, like you did with Battlefield

during the GDC event held a while back it was a 980x + SLI'd GTX 580's but SLI didn't work so it was running on a single card at 1920x1080. so my guess is they finally made nvidia fix the SLI support by now.

Exactly... BF3 is just a circle jerk party! Looking forward to it. Plus the announced date was a little shocking. I thought it was in November? Might as well release it before Modern Fail 3

I have mixed feelings about that. Would it be better to release it before or after MW3?
 
Leave it to MS to give an overall crappy presentation and leave one of the most interesting new features of the Xbox 360 for a recap email.

Geoff said he knew they were going to announce some all new things that haven't even been teased yet.

Hopefully it's some good things.

BTW What ever happened to that "I am Alive" game? The trailer at E3 years ago looke dinteresting, a survival game set after a huge earthquake, then it just vanished and hasn't been seen or really talked about since.

He's the only guy they ever interview that I really get the gamer vibe from. Most of these dudes look like suits trying to blend in with the gamer crowd while Jaffe is a slightly overweight, unattractive nerd who really talks about the games with genuine enthusiasm. Everybody else gives presentations and I just don't feel like they really care about the game; they care about trying to sell us the game. Jaffe cares about the game, the things that are really important and you really feel it when he talks about it.

Kind of like that open world online FPS game on the Source engine that was announced years ago and then disappeared from the face of the Earth. I think it was called Crossing.
 
Touche... though they aren't all that similar from what I remember of AC.
