Also...I guess it's not possible to kill Terramorphous in PT1? I went there and it spawned as a level 52 and I couldn't even do one shred of damage to it before it knocked me clear off the ledge.

Yeah, it's really hard to find a good AR. I found a Jakobs one around level 27 or so that does like 1366 damage and shoots those explosive bouncing rounds. Worth like $8k when even purples of that level were only worth around $3k or so, and it's only a green. Clearly a superior random dice roll on that one.
Level 36 or so now and still haven't found anything that does even remotely close to that damage in an AR. Found a revolver that does almost 1300 but that's about it.
I've been really trying to go AR-based Commando, but honestly it feels like ARs are extremely underpowered. They are outmatched by repeaters/revolvers in RoF, outmatched by damage in just about everything except SMGs, and outmatched in accuracy by...well, the same, just about everything other than SMGs and really crap pistols.
And the problem with Torgue ARs is that they all take like 3-4 rounds per shot with that gyrojet crap.
As for elemental revolvers...no, don't think so. AFAIK only Jakobs makes revolvers and there are no elemental Jakobs weapons.

PS: at least, I found one...
I think I saw on the GBX forum that the DLC might have added some. Never saw one in the base game.
I found a rocket launcher at level 38 that does 96k damage. Is it normal?
Before that I saw max 20k and suddenly 5 times more powerful. I was like - WTF?
It was basically 1 hit kill for any mobs till level 40.
Is there a problem with Zer0's main ability and guns?
When in "stealth", there should be 200% increased gun damage from your next shot, and I've noticed that it's absolutely never kicking-in, often at all.
I keep a close eye on the numbers, but upon firing a shot when still invisible, there's no dmg increase, though it seems there might be for melee.
Anyone else noticed a problem with this?
I'm also finding his skill almost rather pointless, given that only 200% of gun damage, for one shot, even 15 seconds, just seems... pointless...
Zer0's skill doesn't give 200% extra weapon damage, it gives UP TO 200% extra weapon damage. The longer you stay invisible the bigger the damage bonus when you attack.
Unfortunately good AR's are non-existant in this game. I would love if they have M-76 Revenant variant in Borderlands 2. For those who don't know what the M-76 Revenant is. Its a really nice AR in Mass Effect that just mows down enemies at close range and sounds awesome while firing.
For an example of this check out this video
If I'm not mistaken B2 uses the unreal engine which Mass Effect 3 also uses so technically it would be possible.

Yes, I'm aware of that, I can read... what I'm saying, is it doesn't seem to do much of anything what-so-ever and seems almost a pointless "special" skill due to it's mechanics.
Waiting until the last second to get off a shot wastes a lot of time, and doesn't always yield any impressive results, and sometimes seems it almost doesn't kick-in at all.
Now that I think about it, I did get a few purple Dahl ARs that looks really awesome until I shot them and realized they fired a burst that was spread out horizontally. What teh hell use is that?
I've decided there needs to be a hall of fame for weapons. I've finally, at level 31, retired a shotgun that was level 18 requirement. it does 181x18 damage, and its a torque.
Precisely......
I had one good AR that I picked up in the DLC Pirate thing, it spits out a burst of bullets.....but there hasn't been one good one anywhere else, and I'm on my 2nd go around.
I beat the DLC and the big treasure pay-off was full of pistols and maybe one sniper and one shotty.![]()
At level 50 the only thing to do is go boss farming for legendaries.
No one complaining about the terrible texture pop in this game?I hate when I open a case and the ammo texture is ugly for a second; found a tweak for that, though.
Do enemies indefinitely respawn in some areas? I'm early in the game, I fought the guy mounted to the Bullymong and it seemed like extra enemies just kept showing up. After I killed him more still continued showing up. I wanted to clear the area and look around but I decided to just run out of there.
You can clear an area, for a while. Then certain types of enemies (standard) will respawn, Bullymongs being one of them. So usually it is possible to get time in a cleared area to explore.
For me the only enemies that seems respawning are the flying things that atacks form the air and not that dangerous. all land enemies do not respawn unless you leave the map or restart the game.
Anybody else misuse the quit/save feature to get fast to the nearest fast travel station?I do it all the time because I'm to lazy to run through the whole map to get there after some mission is completed.
Only when I'm farming a certain boss or whatever, like getting Bee shields.

Same, unless I'm using a Mechromancer with a hundred Anarchy stacks.
