Thx bro.......the fan is a 120mm, 38mm thick Delta that (at 12v) puts out 190cfm at 55dBA.....but I've got it running at 7v and it's still pushing about 90cfm and is now in that 35-40dBA range and is much more tolerable.

Gimmie till the end of this month and I'll have pics of my case completely finished....mesh windows installed, and the whole chasis powder coated black.

Well I am looking forward to it Cornelious. I have been following "Perfect Dark" for a few months now, and it has been a great source of ideas for me. Can't wait to see the "completed" project (quotes necessary because nothing is ever really completed).

Well, my LianLi V1000b ist not here at the moment, so i am not able to measure it on my own:

Is the size of 210x490x525mm with or without the wheels?

Or the other way around, what is the size of the side-panel and what radius do the corners have?

I'm pretty sure that the dimmensions of the case are without the casters...but don't quote me on that. ;)

Well, I'm not sure of the radius of the corners/angles at all...but if the case had all right angles it would simply be 490x525mm for the side panel.

Is that an MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum with a ZALMAN CNPS7000B-AlCu?

Holy crap! Yah I never realized that! How would he have cut those two little corners for the first "O" in OOGIEBOX?

Nice work!!

i believe it a water jet cutter or a plasma one but what ever it is it looks very sick

Goooood. Now I know I wont have any clearance issues.

Yeah, the 7000's are fine.....but the 7700's are technically listed as uncompatible...as even with a video card with no heatsink on the back, the fins basically do come into contact with the card sometimes, and something should be put between them. If your card has a heatsink on the back, dont even think of a 7700 in the Neo2.....no chance in hell. ;) :p

But yeah, long story short.....you should be fine. ;)

that case and all the parts in it r uber sweet :). if i was you, id clean up all those wires ASAP, thatll make the case looks even more uber-sweet.

not to be an asshole, but that paint job on the DVDrom is horrible. you gotta sand it totally down. afterwards get some plastic primer, prime it, and spray a good coat of paint onto the faceplate on a flat surface.

1: There's no need to quote every picture for something like that.
2: It might have been the first time he had done it, and even though that's not what you meant, you WERE being a bit of an ass by saying that.....I'd still say it looks nicer then a stock drive would have.

Better yet, why not just pick up a stealth drive bezel for the Lian-Li that has the spring-loaded door on it.....matches the case perfectly and saves the trouble of painting the drive, and is just as convenient.

Its on order already.
That is why I didnt spend alot of time painting it. Just quickly painted over it with 2 coats.

The look of the paint was bugging me though.
So I decided to stealth the drives. It was my first time trying it so it didnt come out
perfect. But thats ok I already ordered some replacement bezels and one lian li spring loaded one.

looks good. :D :D

Agreed.....I actually like how easy it is to stealth LiLi drives, the tabs on the sides of the bezels snap off (when bent back and forth) very cleanly, leaving only a bit of sanding left if someone's really picky. ;)

I used heavy duty double sided tape

Agreed, as epoxying the plate to the drive rather permanent.....if done "right". Double sided tape works really well, if you REALLY like the home-made stealth look over just buying one of the drive covers with the spring loaded door..../
