dj_2004 said:newegg has the sizes, think the 65 is a bit smaller than the chieftec. if money isnt an issue get the 75
cornelious0_0 said:The 65 is smaller then the Antec/Cheiftec cases....and the 75 is larger then it. The PC6x cases are about 16" tall....the Antec/Cheiftec chasis's are about 18".....and the PC7x Lian-Li's are either 22 or 24". The PC70 is fricken massive....to the point where I'd hate to own one....so much harder to wire things up when you've got 3 times the space to stretch from a mobo header to a cdrom drive in teh top bay.
flat4 said:looks good cornelious0_0, ill prolly be making the same hole on my pc-65b this weekend. and cut out the back fan grill.
Keep us posted,cornelious0_0 said:yeah man, that hole is REALLY gonna help. The ony wires I really had showing it the old setup were a bunch of 'em up by the cdrom.....but with that hole there the wires are gonna all be able to go behind the plate and around the corner to the mobo....no mess.
My buddy has a holesaw that I gotta get too....so the stock grills are coming off, a 120mm fan is going up top as a pull fan on my heatercore to blow the air out of the case, and I'm putting a second 80mm exhaust in teh back......and doing aluminum fans, which'll look REALLY nice agains the black case.
I'll keep ya posted on it all for sure, it's gonna one hell of a case.![]()

UT-Jackal said:That hole you cut for wire management will help alot, i did the exact cut, as did 2 of my other friends and the outcome was great.

Its not done yet because I ran out of time on the weekend. It still needs to be smoothed out along the edges and i need to attach the plexi.

I will be adding lights later, but I want to get the actual computer in there and working first because I am sick of my current one.[/QUOTE]
somebody flipped their mobo tray! how hard was it? etc etc?

Still waiting for my Ultra X-Connect Power Supply.
I certainly will do the "WTX"-Mod...
Eklipto said:Hey are any of you guys using the little 3-position switch included with the Lian Li's to control your fans? If so how much power can the little controller handle?
koegs said:Well, routing of the power cables to the motherboard will be a problem.
cornelious0_0 said:That hole in the top section REALLY helped more then I ever thought it would, and I highly recommend it.
HRslammR said:agreed,. and if koegs your flipping it, just make the hole the side where the mobo is.

The "green" connector will be no problem, i will make a hole just like cornelius,
for the "red" connector i probably will make a hole into the motherboard tray right on top of it.
HRslammR said:haha, i thought this was the "rate my cables" threat.
