TF2 scout update!

2fort is fun and easy if you have friends playing with you in ventrilo and shit, other than that it is just turtle fort.
 
2fort is fun for FFA action, I never bother running the intel. Gives me a chance to try things out before heading over to "real" matches. Right now I am hooked on Dustbowl, still need that one achievement.

and i wish valve would release the update already! But knowing them it wont come out for a couple more hours... :(

Nah, they just like to make us tingle with anticipation, and steam friends should be back online, mines working
 
I can wait but really, why does it take them so long? I thought this stuff has been done and in testing for almost a month?
I know sending all the update stuff to the content servers or whatever takes time...but how much time really? surely Valve is rocking more then a typical residential connection (upload speed) over there
 
My update has restarted 2 times now. The last time it had gotten to 50%. wtf.....

As a Heavy, I got crap for updates.....All I wanted was a 4 barreled shotgun....and now, the Scout, of all characters gets a BANG BANG for an update. WTF? Does Valve even try to listen to its players?

Not once in all my readings have I ever come across ANYTHING or ANYONE talking about the Scout should have a baseball to hit with his bat or some energy drink to make him go faster than he already does.

Ahh well, never liked playing the scout anyways :p

Well every upgrade replaces the 3 main weapons. What would replace the Standard Sniper Rifle?

Personally to replace the Kurki (Machete) or whatever it's called I'd like some sort of vest that is impervious to the initial backstab. But the take away is like 50% reduced speed or something while wearing it.

I really just want something more powerful to replace the shitty SMG.
 
Downloading this game via Steam right now, the $10 deal is on til Friday :D

I hope it's worth it, I love Valve games and online multiplayer.

I hate the kukri, it doesn't do enough damage, or doesn't crit or enough or something
I was playing sniper last night and beating people with it 3-4 times and they'd turn around and whack me once and it was over

You have to understand it's usage. It's anti-spy, not to kill heavies and pyros or whatever.

Use Sandman while you can because there is a 99% chance that it is going to get nerfed because of the endless bitching and moaning on the Steam forums, People who whine seem to forget there are tons of scouts running around with Sandman ATM
 
I'll be glad if it gets nerfed. It's a retarded addition to an already balanced class.
 
scout was fine, its just that bad players didn't know how to use him. The unlocks were not really useful/necessary
 
Once the Scout fervor dies down we'll see a lot less bitching about the Sandman.
