Very nice to see those pics ShoNuff because thats the exact case I'm setting up for this latest rig. I can get a better perspective of component fits seeing your side view. In my case, I couldn't bring myself to cut the top for the evo 240, so am getting a couple evo 120's. I planned to modify the hdd area and mount the pump and an aquatube next to the psu

Cutting the case is probably a lot easier than you think. Here is my work in progress. Seeing the other project logs made me much more confident about cutting my case. Whatever you do with the V1000 is sure to be nice.

Some pics of the final setup, I think I still need to trim the tube lengths a bit but I'll do that later. I'm using masterkleer 7/16" tubes for this and they are a lot less bulky than 1/2" tubes that most people use and they don't kink much at all. Real nice stuff, if anyone wants the SKU for them let me know.

Dan, how do you change this? I would like to change it to red or green.

aquagrafx6800_highlight.jpg

Im not quite sure how easy it would be to switch out the LED but Im pretty sure it can be done. I didnt tinker around with the last batch of 6800 blocks that I got much but I'll try to tackle this possibility when I get the next ones in. Remind me to do it if you can. :)

The AC website says "For the ATi X800 and Nvidia 6800 GT/Ultra we have two complete coolers in our range of products now. Also on aquagratix 6800 there is an exchangeable illuminated logo integrated into the cooler." I'm just not sure what they mean by "exchangeable." It implies that there may be different color screens involved. Do you have a contact at AC to confirm or deny this with?

Thanks again for looking into it.

I am looking to use the AquaBay with the AquaTub and AquaStream. I had a couple of questions about it.

1. Do you mount the Aqua Stream horizontally or vertically?

2. If you mount it vertically and use a bent fitting will it still only take up the 2 bays that the Aqua Bay is already using or 3? If mounted horizontally I asumme it all fits within the 5.25" bay?

3. Would you recommend a straight or bent fitting on the AquaStream inlet to connect to the AquaTube?

4. Is there a way to get the black face for the AquaStream and AquaBay or do I have to buy them seperate?

5. How restrictive is it to add 90 degree elbows into the system?

6. This will be my first WC project, about what is the radius of the Plug&Cool tubbing before it kinks?

1)any way you want.
2)that would be three bays, sorry.
3)depends on how well you can route hoses.
4)I believe no. You could just paint the stock one.
5)in low-flow, two or three won't do al that much, but more is not a good idea. Also, it might be wise to use few elbows when you have rather restrictive blocks.
6) the PUR stuff i managed to get down to 8 centimetres (bout 3.2 inches), PVC can go to about 6 cm.

The little window can be pulled out and replaced with a new one but I dont understand why it would have to be replaced anyways. The LED sits somewhere off to the side and behind it.

So it seems that my "Big Shipment" is shipping from abroad this Tuesday the 23rd. Im expecting everything to arrive between the dates of the 27th and the 29th. Almost 2 weeks late from the original ETA but at least Im not being held up any longer. Im sorry for the wait.

My case is a CoolerMaster ATC- 111c and it has dual 80mm fans in the front of the case positioned vertically, one 80mm blowhole, and on 80mm fan on the rear of the case.

Now what are my options as far as radiators go if I dont want to cut up my case. I know that the Airplex Evo 160 is a dual 80 mm radiator, but what is its performance like. I dont want to have to use really loud 80mm fans to achieve decent cooling. One of my objectives is to silence my case some.

I was also considering the Airplex Evo 240 with the External Housing, but I was wondering where exactly on the case is this mounted or can it be anywhere? Some pics of the radiator mounted would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

The Airplex Evo 160 would be ideal for your setup and it will cool reasonably well to boot. :)

The Evo 240 would mount to the top of your case, kinda like a Koolance.

:D

Just found out that I may be able to get an aquastream, aquatube, evo 240, and twinplex GPU to go along with my silver CPU block around christmas time....can't wait to finally get a proper watercooling system installed....:D

Yippee! Real glad to hear that!

Anyone know when the hipersys external cooling kit will be available for order?

I'm probably going to end up getting all the individual parts and mod my PC-V1200B case, but the hipersys has most of when I was going to purchase (AquaTube, AquaStream, Evo240, Aquaero) in a neat looking package.

Question about the aqua-bay....How far back does it extend? would it have about the same length as a cd rom drive with the aquastream pump attached?

And it only takes up 2 - 5.25 bays right?

The Hipersys may not be released for quite some time, most of the wait was due to the lag on the Aquaero but..... I dont see any updated ETA anytime soon so dont expect it to be released until almost spring of next year. Dont quote me on this though.

It extends back as far as a normal CD ROM when the Aquastream is attached and it mounts in 2 5.25" bays.

Nothing like chrome Dan, you know it is funny of all the backordered stuff I have on it's way I am most excited about a $15 Aquaero black face plate. I guess it's because I have been waiting for it since July and need it to finish my front panel.

Lets hope all goes as well......

All will go well this time or Im going to get pissed, I dont like it when I go without receiving paid for product twice in a row. You'll finally be able to finish one project, a sweet one at that too! :D

The very first cut Cuplex Pro SE (Silver) will soon be making its appearance in the US and the Black Aquatube has finally been released. I will most likely be able to stock both of these items in the next month or so. There will be pictures shortly but I will be linking to that customer's thread here on [H] so he can get all the attention. That and I dont wana get slapped. :D

Hey Dan are the black mounting plates also coming for the aquatube and do you know if the hardware that comes with it will be black?

The black face plates will be arriving as well but Im not quite sure if the hardware is going to be black as well. I'll just have to wait and see.

^ Damn looks nice man....I like the case stickers...I can't wait for x-mas when I'm supposed to get my aquastream and aquatube and evo240...:D

Hey blue,

Did you have those stickers custom made? If so, chould you post a link for me where you had it done? I was looking at maybe painting that same logo on my system later..... or other logos in general.

They are painted by smooth-creations.com :D

That looks very nice. Clean up the wires a bit, and it would be just about perfect.

I wish now I had gotten two Auqa pumps and just went with the smaller tubing, rather than 2x Swiftech pumps, with the 3/8" ID tubing. Oh well.. there is always next time.

Hows about pic with the side off, from a little further back?

Nice setup BlueAqua :D ...

You should switch that Innovatek Cool-Matic NV40 waterblock with an AquagraFX 6800 Rev 2 to keep the Aqua-computer theme...Nice GPU block though :)

After seeing this, I can't wait to get my aqua-computer parts in..

So, I finally got my AC stuff... but with a twist. What I ordered was:

1)Entry level supply kit (120mm rad, Hydor L20 pump, tubing, corrosion inhibitor)
2)Cuplex PRO socket 939
3)Reservoir Aquainlet in blue.

What they shipped me:

1)Passive supply kit Aquastream (3x120mm rad, Aquastream 12 microcontroller pump (performance of eheim 1046), tubing, corrosion inhibitor, mounting brackets for rad)
2)Cuplex pro
3)Aquainlet
4) ANOTHER Aquainlet

Sadly, the fittings on the rad were 90°, I needed straight ones.

But, interestingly enough, the invoice lists the items I ordered... what should I do?

Should I
a) Be happy and order new fittings.
b) Be a nive guy and pay them the correct amount
c) Tell them they fucked up, and ship the excess back.

Great job, BlueAqua. Your case looks amazing.

It looks like you have the Aquastream pump mounted to the rear of the Aquabay. I thought this setup would block the three inlets on the back of the Aquatube but it looks like you have an Aquajet installed. Are you using those three rear inlets, and if so what type of connector did you need to use?

Thanks

Sounds like AC shipped you somebody else's stuff, this is just my opinion of course but I would pick "C". It helps keep everybody honest.
