use the Geforce version instead, links to your steam library, has more graphics options and runs well. My brother does this with his old 970, 1080p ray tracing ultra, 60fpsRight, pretty much any big game has a huge day 1 patch, but usually the developers come through with the fix.
I think the difference here is that this is arguably the biggest game launch of all time and gamers had super high expectations.
And the state it is in on last-gen consoles is a joke. I bought the PS4 version, but I haven't played it since I sold my PS4 in anticipation of getting a PS5 (yes, I'm a clown). But I watched the console videos and 15 fps is unacceptable.
Surprisingly the Stadia version is pretty solid. I tested it and it looked and played great. If you have a last gen console or a 1060 or below, definitely give Stadia a chance because it really shines.
