Off topic, but totally agree. I'm not sure it was a conscious decision, but it's like stepping back to the early 90s in tone and social content. The world feels like a techno-dystopia as someone in 1993 would have imagined it, although there are a smattering of undertones of modernity. It fits the ilk of Johnny Mnemonic, Dark World, Strange Days, A Scanner Darkly etc. In a way, it's a hugely nostalgic trip.Cyberpunk Woke? Honestly, I would not say so, I do not feel like the game is preaching about anything. The world in this game is a pure dystopia, an example where everything has gone wrong and everything is fetishified to the extreme, same sex or no. Even a bloody dogfood advertisement has titties in it! It is so wrong and I love it!
It does not sadly have much in terms of the P&P RPG elements.
