The slimmer bezels look like a definite improvement. Curious as to how you compare them to your 3 x 30's in either PPP or LLL?
I updated my setup with a WSGF mount, modified to work with my triple U3011 setup, the sides were sagging so much they couldn't be lined up.
Now it works perfectly with extra room on the vertical access. I am very happy with the results.

It's from havertys. I don't think they carry it anymore. The space isn't as small as it looks, there is just some massive monitors on that side of the room. Walking in and it is nice and open.
Any spare DP > DVI Adapters ?
I remember all those issues, and it's why I downsized to 5400x1920. I worked through them, but if one adapter broke, I had to reset every monitor and adapter, plus I had sooooo many cables to each monitor. Power, DVI, USB hub, dp->dvi adapter, usb power, etc. I was using 5x3007wfp-hc's with dp->dvi adapters.
Any spare DP > DVI Adapters ?
None that reliably work. Unfortunately.
Yes. Wargame: AirLand Battle, Strike Suit Zero, Borderlands 2, Sins of a Solar Empire, Starcraft 2 and WoW. AirLand Battle looks great at 8000x2560 with Crossfire.
The following games have native support at 8000x2560 in fullscreen mode:
Wargame: AirLand Battle
Strike Suit Zero
Borderlands 2
how in the world could you possibly even start the game with that amount of pixels?? thats 20 million pixels.. people are having a hard time with 3 titans at 8 million pixels.
... i imagine it must look great though!
I first tried 5x1P Eyefinity with Apple miniDP > DL DVI adapters, very bad mistake. I should have checked the AMD certified components website and even then, some of those components were still not DP compliant (20 pin issue).
I would like to see if the above adapters will work with Eyefinity when Mac OS X "Mavericks" comes out later on this year.
If you're aiming for 8000x2560 and/or 120Hz, try check out the Club 3D MST Hub and Dell U3014 monitors. Maybe that might help in cutting back on adapters to some extent (less troubleshooting).
Where can you get the Club 3D MST Hub? does it allow one displayport to output 2560x1600 x 3?
