All on a 20$ folding table.
I prefer the long folding table; perfect size for my room. Great for locum tenens jobs too. thanks for noticing.
hey mate could you please upload the r18/corvette wallpaper... if you have any other wallpapers from lemans 2013 upload them!!!
That particular one is from Speedhunters: http://www.speedhunters.com/2013/06/erasing-rational-thought-driving-le-mans/ (the wallpaper resolution photos are at the bottom). Speedhunters has a bunch of fantastic photos from all types of events, if an article has wallpaper sized photos they get linked to http://www.speedhunters.com/category/desktops/
Nice.very clean setup!
I have two 27 inch LG Led on a mount and two Dell U3014.
I have to say I love the display port daisy chain feature for the U3014
I have a cheif mount for the U3014's coming this week. They will take center stage and then I have to figure out what to do with the 3014.
I wish I could find a way to run wallpapers in two different resolutions....
I haven't purchased it yet but am planning to for my setup. I run two Dell 2007FP flanking a U3011 on the bottom row with a secondary display above the U3011 at 1680x1050 that holds my gadgets, Rainmetre, etc. I am under the impression that Display Fusion lets you use different wallpapers on each monitor...
Windows 8 lets you already set different wallpapers to different monitors. If you're not using Windows 8, you can also buy Displayfusion now through Steam:
I am running windows 8. Can some kind person explain the process of running different resolutions for wallpaper.
I have about 1900 wall papers in both 1920x1080 and 2560x1600
Ultramon also allows different wallpapers on different monitors, although it is not as flexible as Display Fusion.
I've used Ultramon on a rig similar to yours, except I used 3 20" 1680x1050 monitors on the upper row as they are a good PPI match for the lower monitors:

Took a quick photo from last night. Finally got the right wall mount bracket for the top panel.
I'm a software engineer and work at home once in a while...but I do some side projects and game on nights/weekends. Top panel is great for movies/email/etc.
Sizes are 24" ( ASUS VS248H x2, SAMSUNG BX2440X x1) with the top being and older viewsonic 21".
Back-lighting is from my Ikea Dioder of course which is set to match the wallpaper.
Cable management needs a little work
2X Dell 23" U2312HM IPS Monitors
Any chance you could upload the wallpaper? It looks awesome.
This is where i got it from
Added a third display, and another shelf on my rack.
Just a single 24" samsung
Still rockin' my NEC 2490WUXi. Have two NEC 2090UXi's laying around as well that I need to setup next to my main monitor now that I have a graphics card that supports three monitors.
Fellow ATC'er here.
I envy u.
How is color quality on one of these? Do u think this nec has better reproduction than a dell u2413?
I was think about buying the 23in 1080p version. This thing is expensive, $550 for a 1080p! Wow.
Well it took some time, a lot of back and fourth with Dell but I finally have four U3014's in house and got a mount that will hold them all. The picture of course DOES not do it justice. I actually feel a little warm sitting in front of these bad boys.....
Next up, a X-Rite EODIS3 i1Display Pro to calibrate these bads boy.
I must say that I see absolutely no scans lines on any of them. I may be the luckiest sob in the world
What do you need so many pixels for?
I work from home for a few companies plus I also day trade. Real estate to me is money
Tom, that you?
Suzook, nice setup. What is your graphics card setup? Nice to hear somebody likes the 3014s. Lots of bashing going on against those monitors....has just about scared me off from getting one
thank you sir. Yes I have been apprehensive about them. I scored them for under $700 when they had the sale a few weeks ago in the outlet. I had to swap them out a few times but now I am 100% satisfied. A3's are rumored to be out in the wild and seem to resolve the issues.
As for the video card, an OEM Nvidia 670 believe it or not. They are set up with display port in a daisy chain
oh I should mention the mount is a Chief KTG445. Its a grommet mount. I went with a 42 inch bar which was too high but works. the 36 inch bar is more than enough
2 x 27" Shimain.
What mount is it? I've had such trouble finding mounts to handle my 30" display.
this is [H], so "need" really isn't relevant.
its from installing win 8.1.
I just found a way to remove it.
Congrats. It's super annoying. Sometimes it locks up my computer. Buuuut, I'm too lazy to reinstall and/or fix it.
Sorry it took so long to reply.
Color quality is excellent. NEC/Eizo are about as good as it gets when it comes to color accuracy and backlight uniformity. The hardware calibration and colorcomp uniformity correction are great features. Color reproduction is definitely better than the Dell U2413. Luckily I have the first generation NEC 2490WUXi (my two 2090UXi's are first generation as well), which have the advanced true wide (A-TW) polarizer. The polarizer greatly reduces the purple glow when viewing dark colored images at off angles. Unfortunately there's very few monitors made with the A-TW polarizers anymore, so I'm going to be holding on to my three first gen NEC's for a looong time. They also have zero backlight bleed and no dead pixels. I've been reading reviews of NEC's newer displays, and seems their quality control in regards to backlight bleed/dead pixels might be slipping a bit. Good thing NEC has amazing customer service. Cheers!
Dude, which arm/stand is that? I'm getting two 27inchers and I need something to put them on.
Dude, what desk is this? I likes it and must haves it!
I believe this is the Galant desk with A-legs from IKEA. Black-Brown.
Well I have decided to add two more monitors......for a total of 6. two 27 inch dell in portrait will flank the 30 inch dells.
I just have to find a bloody video card that will work..... Updates soon
Here's my current setup:
