Nice view but way too exposed and bright.. I mean it can be bright and sunny out but my room is dark and cozy for gaming, I'd go blind if I had all that sun coming into my room lol

lol not if you are on the computer at nite hahah ! that is a nice setup/view

This got lost on the last bage, so I'll ask again :D

I just have a quick question to all with triple screen setups; what type of video card configuration do you use? Can you put something like two 7800's (not in SLI), and have one drive the first two while the other drives the third? Can you get 3D acceleration across all 3?

Here is my 21" Samsung SyncMaster 215tw that I just picked up on friday! I absolutely love it, and I can't wait to try it out the component inputs with my xbox360

Just picked the 215TW yesterday, quite happy with it :)

I like how you parked your BMW-Sauber in N.

What Mod is that for again? Looks nice, btw. It's unfortunate there is no hands or helmut visible in the cockpit.

That's a lot of Icons. We have a lady at work that keeps everything on her desktop. When she ran out of space on her 17", she got a 23". Now, she's getting close to running out so we're seeing if she'll spend the money on the 30" or actually listen to us and clean it up.

The other day i was clearing off my work area and decided to waste some time hooking all the LCD displays i had upto my computer. I'll post a pic of my actual work area later. :)

I have that same TV I think. Its a PT50LC13. 1280 x 720 (720p) resolution.

It displays a pc connection ok but I find the window frames and toolbars alittle bulky and the display alittle squashed-down at that 720 resolution (browsers, etc). For me regular text isn't very easy to read for very long either, in browsing or games with alot of small text windows like world of warcraft. I have to oversize text which I don't like to do. It fine for short periods of time but not hardcore computing/gaming with text.

It is great for playing DVD's via htpc, and running high rez photo slideshows. By the way you might be interested in a blacklevel mod tutorial for the set on the avsforum (audo-video science forum), if you weren't aware of it. It uses a high-end photography filter. I've done it on my set and it improved the blacks greatly.

How to Improve Black Level on a Panasonic PT-50LCX63 LCD - A Mod Tutorial

I'm considering selling it and getting the new samsung HL-S5087 DLP set though. Its 1920 x 1080 (1080p) and 10,000:1 contrast ratio. Though samsung officially not supporting pc to tv connections on this set, according to user reviews it is supposed to work great for it via dvi to hdmi cable.

Yeah, its actually the PT50LC14 model. I've been considering doing the neutral-density filter mod for a while now.

In the picture its connected using a DVI->HDMI adaptor, it maps the pixels perfectly although i have it running slightly lower resolution than 720p to get everything 100% on screen. But yeah the lower resolution isn't so hot for playing WoW. I was playing Battlefield2 on it for a while which works quite well.

I haven't really decided what i want to move to from here tho, it'll definitely be a 1080p display but i'm waiting for more products to come to market as nothing has really caught my eye with any of the new tvs. One thing that i've been satisfied with on this panasonic though is that its deinterlacing of 480i material is quite good, in particular it does an excellent job with the wacky ass output of the Playstation2.

Looks like someone's overclocking their linksys router....lol!

Here's my setup...

Motorola dct6412 III prototype_sx , its the one with hdmi connector instead of the dvi. Its got dual drives so I can record two shows or watch a show while recording different channels. So far I got all the latest season of high def sopranos on it. Can hold about 19 hours of high def.

its not enjoyable for others that have to smell it. smokers ruin so many things for non smokers. i wish they would take every person that smoked and put them on an island somwhere. that way i could drive with my windows down and not have smell the asshole with a cig hanging out their window. i could rent an apartment and not have to have that fucking smoke come through my vents. i could go to any restaurant and actually enjoy my meal. heck it would be nice to sit outside anywhere i wanted and not have to smell that shit.

of course there would be other great side effects of getting rid of smokers. 99.9% of all criminals would be out of society. most trailer parks could be torn down. there would be much less litter. oh and since most alcoholics and drug users are smokers, the streets would be safer. i guess in reality all i can do is dream about a smoke free society. :D

Can i ask you where you got that desk and what it costs, if you have a link to it that would be nice. thanks

I bought it from a store here in N. Atlanta. I can't remember the names as it was about 3 years ago. It cost just under 300. I love my desk, it's just a paint to keep clean (dust).

That's a negative. Every time I have a layover in Salt Lake City, Utah, I hate having to walk by the smoking booths. Just look up at the ceiling, since they have glass all the way up, you can see the perfect, clean, white ceiling outside the booth, and the gross, dark brown, yellow, inside the booth.

Heres are some updated pictures of mine. I have a Dell 1907fp and a Dell E151FPp, set up as Dual View.

In my game room I have a foose ball table and wrap around desk that has:

And then just down the desk is my older Dell:

Which has a 2.2Ghz P4, 768MB RDRAM, 9800 pro.

And then the laptop I am typing this on. . .
